MCALLEN - David Hartley's murder on Falcon Lake is getting the attention of top U.S. officials.

During an interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the U.S. is doing everything they can to help the Hartley Family.

"I hope that we can help, hope that we can. The beheaded body of the Mexican investigator that just showed up, shows what we're dealing with," says Clinton.

Pam Hartley, says she's thankful for what's being done, but the U.S. can't give up now.

"I still want Mexico to allow U.S. people in there to search, to help them find David. No matter what, I want something of David to come home. I want something of him back in Colorado where he was born and raised," she says.

David Hartley has been missing since August 30th when he and his wife Tiffany were jet-skiing on Falcon Lake. Tiffany Hartley says he was shot by armed men.

The Mexican government has named two men as suspects in the shooting, but no arrests have been made.
