Jan. 17, 2014 – California man who fled to Mexico is latest fugitive added to ICE app to locate at-large child sex predators
A Mexican national residing in Modesto, Calif., who absconded to Mexico following his arrest Dec. 4 for sexual abuse of a minor, is the latest fugitive to be profiled on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) smartphone app, seeking public tips on at-large and unknown child predator suspects. Jan. 14, 2014 – ICE deports Mexican mass murder suspect captured in northern California
A Mexican national captured in Madera three months ago, who is charged with a mass murder in his native country, was turned over Jan. 14 to Mexican law enforcement personnel at a San Diego-area border crossing by officers from ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).Full Story
Jan. 14, 2014 – ICE returns recovered, 'most wanted' stolen antiquities to India
ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) returned three recovered sculptures, valued at more than $1.5 million, to the government of India Jan. 14 during a repatriation ceremony at the consulate in New York City. Treasury Continues Targeting Sinaloa Cartel Leadership
JAN 16 (PHOENIX)
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Doug Coleman announced today that the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) reported the designation of Jose Guadalupe Tapia Quintero, a Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico based senior lieutenant of the Sinaloa Cartel. Jose Guadalupe Tapia Quintero was designated for his role in the drug trafficking activities of Ismael "Mayo" Zambada Garcia and for playing a significant role in international drug trafficking.
