Luis Gutierrez: We Will Leave No Illegal Behind in Pursuit of Amnesty

    Breitbart
by Tony Lee 2 Oct 2014

On Wednesday, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) vowed to leave no illegal immigrant behind in pursuing amnesty.

Gutierrez made his remarks at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Conference a day before President Barack addresses the Conference on Thursday evening. Gutierrez urged Obama to give amnesty to illegal immigrants who have been in the country for at least 10 years and to include more DREAMers so that he does the "greatest good for the greatest number of people." He then said declared, "We will leave no one behind."

As he has said before, Gutierrez said Obama's temporary amnesty is merely a "down payment" to the Latino community. Gutierrez has also said that when the White House asked for forbearance for delaying his planned executive amnesty, he demanded "interest" in the form of a broader executive amnesty in the fall.

Anyone who has been here for ten years should have tried to become legal in all that time. Either these people do not want to be citizens or they know they wouldn't be accepted for citizenship going through the proper channels. To me, this speaks volumes. As for the dreamers, they are children of illegals and are themselves illegal. You don't reward illegal parents by giving amnesty to their children!

Normally the longer you proceed in a violation of law, the harsher your penalty. IMO, the ones that have been here the longest should have a higher priority for deportation, not given a reward for avoiding law enforcement for a longer period of time!

You really have to wonder about people like Gutierrez and Jorge Ramos. When you read their personal histories you realize they're wackos with deep rooted self-image issues which is what is driving their need to be champions of something. Unfortunately, instead of staying in Puerto Rico in the case of Luis and Mexico in the case of Jorge, where there were legitimate issues to champion, they both copped out and came here looking to do here what they should have stayed there to do.

Here they looked around for a group of people like them who would look up to them here simply because of their ethnic origin, and decided to champion illegals here instead of in their home countries where if they had stayed and did there what they're doing here they could make a positive difference.

But no, instead they choose to try to do here what they should be doing there for a group of people who may deserve it there, but don't deserve it here, all the while lining their own pockets "advocating" policies that are impoverishing our people and bankrupting our nation. Who would want a legacy like that?

They're like those people with Hero Syndrome who start fires so they can be called heroes for putting them out.

They both need to see shrinks because this is a battle they're going to lose and lose bigger than they can even imagine.
