Rush is asking Senator Rubio who he is trying to reach. Senator Rubio says that there has to be public hearings.
Senator Rubio is saying that illegal aliens do not qualify for federal benefits, except Obama healthcare. Mentioning security triggers.
(Illegal aliens are getting benefits through fraud, through the use of their children's social security numbers, through stolen identities.)
The Senator said yesterday that the illegal aliens will be here the rest of their lives. If enforcement measures were operating, that would not be the case.
Rush said that he would give an amnesty if the illegal aliens could not vote for 25 years, making a point that it is all about new voters, not what is right or best for the nation.
Ted Kennedy said that we would never need to do this again (1986), that enforcement would take place. 3 million illegal aliens now 11 million plus.
Rush states that after the 1986 amnesty under President Bush, the Repunlicans lost points with Hispanics. This is not a winning strategy for Republicans.
Mr. Obama will speak today in Nevada, wanting to continue to use this issue versus finding common ground with Republicans.Jeremiah 29:11 - It is written, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Thanks Georgia Peach! Please advise if any more relevant info comes out and the overall gist of Limbaugh's response. I hope he is not fooled by Rubio's transparent bogus talking points.
Rubio is really trying to mute conservative talk radio -- but there is NO way he can square this circle, as the open border zealots openly admit that the enforcement provisions are bogus, designed to give the GOP talking points -- and that he is working with Charles Schumer on this and has been praised by Obama.

You are welcome.
Rush said illegal aliens come for government support. MSNBC has picked up this comment and is replaying it.
Talking about 1986 amnesty, asking why anything would be different now because the language is the same and the president is Mr. Obama.
Quoting Senator Jeff Sessions and his skepticism regarding this new move toward amnesty.
Rush said that if 70 percent of Hispanics would vote for Republicans, the Democrats would be building the border fence as fast as they could.
Senator Rubio is new to the senate and he will have to learn.Jeremiah 29:11 - It is written, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Rush is still on this topic, playing clips from the bi-partisian speech yesterday.
Now he is going back to Senator Alan Simpson (Simpson Mazzoli amnesty bill of 1986) and his speech from the 1980s, courtesy of C Span archives. Rush is making comparisons to the same talking points of this new push for amnesty. Bill Richardson is talking in the same clip.
(My comment- unbelievable the similarities- excellent way to see though the spin of today)
"We are being whip-sawed." - Rush
"This is a diabolical attack." Rush

Rush taking about unions in the tank, they are biting the bullet.
Richard Trumpka, AFL-CIO will be on stage with Mr. Obama today for amnesty speech in Nevada, according to Rush.
Rush says there has to be border security. He does not believe the sincerity of the Democratic Party.
Mr. Obama is speaking now, 2:45 EST.

I caught the part after Rubio left and Rush was commenting.
**Rush said he met with some senators who asked for anonymity, who told him (Rush) if you call this amnesty, it's dead, and urged him not to call it amnesty. Rush told them he would openly support amnesty IF all of those here illegally would not be able to vote for 25 years. Rush said he was making the point that this is all about votes for Democrats.
Commenting about his Rubio interview, Rush also made the same point that Mark Levin made last night, although this proposal claims to secure the border first, he's not buying into it because the president will not enforce existing law. Obama wants this as an issue to annihilate the GOP.
Rush also said this is the "same people" with the "same language" involved with the 1986 amnesty that fooled Ronald Reagan. What's different about it?! What could we expect with Obama, who won't enforce existing law?! Obama and the Democrats want illegal immigrants to become voters.
Rubio will learn fast; we'll see.
Rush also quoted from Ted Cruz's statement who said some good elements in it, but he has deep concerns with the pathway to citizenship.
