The predominantly Latino gang originated in Los Angeles. It is one of the nation's largest gangs with an estimated 10,000 members in more than 10 states.
These numbers seem awfully low to me. I read somewhere recently the numbers are in excess of 50,000 now and they've infested at least 34 states.
