Thats what I was thinking. The drones by themselves are a waste of money if its used as just a camera. We have had camera's on the border, video on the border, and satellites we could use. But its all useless if that information is never used or attacks against the "bad guys" are never done.

Well since mexico seems to think there is no border and certainly no security...there is no real mexican soverergnty. They think we are all one. That being the case we should be able to use whatever force needed where ever needed.

"Here's the problem with drones, the illegals can't see them, they cost a lot, and it was NObama's idea! Soldiers standing there saying "Nope you can't come in!" is the only way to secure our American borders!" So take those drones roll em' up in your virtual fence and stick em' strait up...well you know where they belong Mr.O

Mexico gave the U.S. authority to fly drones over their territory. Read all about it @

The new drones can watch an area of 40,000 miles and tell the border patrol agents where the illegals are.
That way they don't have to search for them, the drone tells them right where they are.

. . . Homeland Security drones flew along the U.S.-Mexico border in past years to gather intelligence on organized crime.

Global Hawks are military drones that have been used for surveillance missions in Afghanistan as well as for relief efforts in natural disaster zones. Global Hawks can look over areas as large as 40,000 square miles. . .
