Hillary Backs Off 'Corporations Don't Make Jobs' Comment -- But Not Really

A few days after Hillary Clinton said that corporations and businesses don't create jobs, she's trying to distance herself from her very own "you didn't build that" moment.

On Friday, she said at a rally in Massachusetts, "Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs."
Because obviously the government fairy godmother does that.
By Monday, after having a weekend to realize what a boneheaded thing she had said, Clinton tried to walk it back, saying she had "shorthanded this point the other day." What she had meant to say was that "trickle down economics" is bad, bad, bad:
"Let me be absolutely clear about what I've been saying for a couple of decades: Our economy grows when businesses and entrepreneurs create good-paying jobs here in an America where workers and families are empowered to build from the bottom up and the middle out -- not when we hand out tax breaks for corporations that outsource jobs or stash their profits overseas."
The problem of course is that what she's describing sounds like the very "trickle down economics" the Democrats criticize. The basic idea of getting government out of businesses, lowering taxes and decreasing regulations so small businesses can thrive is the sort of sound economic theory that would work, if our government would ever try it.
Clinton says "trickle down" has "failed rather spectacularly," but that's not been the prevailing economic theory for years now. Instead, we've been slapped with more and more regulations, including the monster Obamacare package. From the local to the federal level, Democrats constantly push ways to increase the costs of business and milk people of as much money in fees and taxes as possible, while vastly increasing the size and expense of government.

From bailing out automakers to raising the minimum wage, Democrats' tired old Keynesian economics have ruled the country for too long.
It's telling that in the same speech where Clinton had her little Freudian moment, she also touted a higher minimum wage as a panacea for poverty.
"Don’t let anybody tell you that raising the minimum wage will kill jobs. They always say that," she said.
The reason "they" always say that is because that's what always happens when you raise the cost of having an employee.
Democrats -- and some Republicans -- believe in magic, that just because they have the keys to the printing press, they can print as much money as they need with no consequences. Consequently, they are mystified by ideas like balancing a business's costs vs. its sales. Because they believe that government creates jobs, they are flummoxed at the very notion that a business owner might want to make a profit and keep his own family fed. After all, the business owner "didn't build that."
The economic theories that have been holding us down are the same ones espoused by Hillary and her political kin. They are a natural outgrowth of the same socialist view that says government is meant to rule the people, not serve them.
If America is to return to being a free society, it's time to ditch Hillary and the rest of the Democrats.

Hillary Clinton has settled into a talking points rhythm while stumping for Democrats across the country these past few weeks.
First pointed out by CNN, Clinton habitually gushes about her own “grandmother glow,” praises Democrats as the “right leaders at the right time,” rips Republican attempts to induce “amnesia” and “fear” with the electorate, and warns supporters not to take “anything for granted.”
She also likes a rather stretched line about wherever the rally’s being held having enough energy to light that city. To her credit, the former First Lady doesn’t appear to have as much trouble as current First Lady Michelle Obama with the names of the candidates she supports, although Clinton did step in it last week by saying corporations and businesses don’t create jobs.

On the heels of her supremely ignorant conclusion that businesses and corporations don’t create jobs, she told a crowd in Iowa that they would be in jeopardy of losing access to mammograms if Republican Joni Ernst wins the race for Senate in the state.
Desperation overtook Clinton while she was campaigning for Bruce Braley, who is trailing in the heated race.
Clinton bashed Ernst for trying to repeal Obamacare, “something that guaranteed women access to mammograms,” she said, according to the Washington Post.

1. City States.
Did the world wars, revolutions & big events of human history happen naturally or coincidentally, or were they calculated & pre-planned? If they were pre planned, who planned them?
The answer to this question can be found within the boundaries of 3 of the worlds most powerful cities. Those 3 cities belong to no nation & pay no taxes. They are Washington's District of Columbia, which is not part of the City of Washington or the US. The inner city of London, which is not part of London or England & Vatican City, which is not part of Rome or Italy.

Those who didn't pay-up risked eternal damnation. Another method was to get wealthy land owners to hand-over their land/fortune to the church on their death bed, in exchange for a blessing which would supposedly enable them to go to heaven.

During the dark ages, the Catholic Church not only hoarded the wealth they collected from the poor, but they hoarded knowledge. They kept the masses ignorant & in the dark by denying them a basic education. They also prohibited anyone from reading or even possessing a Bible, under pain of death.
Between 1095-1291 AD the Pope launched 7 blood baths called the Christian Crusaides, torturing, murdering, beheading & mass murdering hundreds of thousands of Muslims & Jews in the name of God. 3. The City of London.
Like Vatican city, London's inner city is also a privately owned corporation or city state, located right in the middle of greater London. It became a sovereign state in 1694 when King William III of Orange privatised & turned the Bank of England over to the bankers. Today, the City State of London is the world's financial power centre & the wealthiest square mile on the face of the Earth. It houses the Rothschild controlled Bank of England, Lloyds of London, the London stock exchange, all British banks, the branch offices of 385 foreign banks & 70 US banks. It has its own courts, its own laws, its own flag & its own police force. It is not part of greater London, or England, or the British Commonwealth & pays no taxes. The City State of London houses Fleet Street's newspaper & publishing monopolies. Contrary to popular belief, The Crown is not the Royal Family or the British Monarch. The Crown is the private corporate City State of London. It has a council of 12 members who rule the corporation under a mayor, called the Lord Mayor. Like the City States of London & the Vatican, a third city state was officially created in 1982. That city state is called the District of Columbia & is located on 10sq miles of land in the heart of Washington. The District of Columbia flies its own flag & has its own independent constitution.
The constitution for the District of Columbia operates under a tyrannical Roman law known as Lex Fori, which bares no resemblance to the US Constitution. When Congress passed the act of 1871 it created a separate corporation known as THE UNITED STATES & corporate government for the District of Columbia. This treasonous act allowed the District of Columbia to operate as a corporation outside the original constitution of the United States & outside of the best interests of American Citizens.
Although geographically separate, the city states of London, the Vatican & the District of Columbia are one interlocking empire called Empire of the City.

5. The U.S.A. - A Crown Colony.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday portrayed the early Senate results as a repudiation of Hillary Clinton, a possible 2016 presidential rival.

"I think we’re going to pick up enough [seats] to take over the Senate, and I think it is a repudiation basically of the president's policies, but also Hillary Clinton," Paul said on Fox News Tuesday night."Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton have been all over the place. They’re trying to make out as if they’re somehow better for Democrats, but in Kentucky they were soundly rejected."
As President Obama stayed away from the Senate campaign trail, both Hillary and former President Bill Clinton campaigned hard, particularly in Kentucky and Arkansas. But both Democratic Senate candidates are projected to lose in those states. Paul also pointed to Iowa, a key presidential state.
"They campaigned in Kentucky very heavily, and in Arkansas, and in Iowa, so I think the facts are the facts," he said on Fox News Tuesday night. "Did the Clintons help their ticket? So far, I don’t think they have."
Paul also criticized Kentucky Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes for linking herself to Clinton.
"It turns out Hillary Clinton doesn’t have too many coattails in Kentucky," he said.

Losers.

Hillary Clinton wasn’t on the ballot this year, but all of the candidates she’d campaigned for were, and they suffered some of the most embarrassing defeats of the cycle. Even MSNBC agrees that it was a bad night for Clinton.

Hillary campaigned for more than a dozen candidates across the country, making frequent use of the “war on women” rhetoric that many voters appear to be tired of hearing. As a result, Clinton had a rough night Tuesday. A number of Hillary-backed candidates lost despite running in reliably blue states such as Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Maine.

Clinton made several trips to Iowa, a crucial state for her 2016 hopes, but her star power failed to convince voters to elect Bruce Braley to the Senate. Voters in important swing states such as Florida and North Carolina also rejected her approved candidates. At the very least, this year’s election results might make some Democrats want to rethink the prevailing notion that Hillary is a shoo-in for the presidency in 2016.

Hillary Donor Under Investigation in Counterintelligence Probe

A former high-ranking diplomat and Clinton ally at the center of an FBI counterintelligence probe was a registered foreign agent for the Pakistani government up until just days before she was appointed to run the U.S. State Department’s Pakistan aid team.
The Washington Post reported last week that the State Department’s aid coordinator for Pakistan, Robin Raphel, is the subject of a counterintelligence investigation and has had her security clearance revoked.
The FBI has not specified the nature of the probe, although the Post indicated that it could be espionage-related. She was reportedly placed on administrative leave last month, and the State Department said she is no longer employed by the agency.
Raphel previously served as an assistant secretary of state under President Bill Clinton and rejoined the State Department in August 2009 to focus on Pakistan and Afghanistan aid issues. She is also close to Hillary Clinton and contributed $2,000 to her presidential campaign in 2007.
From 2007 until 2009, Raphel worked for the lobbying firm Cassidy & Associates, where her clients included the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
Cassidy & Associates stated in lobbying disclosure records that Raphel stopped conducting work for Pakistan in November 2007.
The U.S. Foreign Agent Registration office told the Washington Free Beacon that Raphel’s foreign agent registration for Pakistan remained active until July 31, 2009. The State Department announced her appointment as Pakistani foreign aid coordinator five days later.
Disclosure forms also list dozens of Raphel’s cab rides between June 1, 2009 and the July 31, 2009 as expenses incurred on behalf of the Pakistani embassy.
Ten of these cab rides were for trips Raphel made to the State Department at the end of July. Cassidy & Associates later filed an amendment stating that these State Department visits were “incorrectly characterized” and “were not incurred on behalf of the foreign principal.”
The firm did not challenge Raphel’s other listed cab rides on behalf of the Pakistani government during that same time period.
On August 10, 2009, Cassidy & Associates asked the Foreign Agent Registration office to terminate Raphel’s October 27, 2007 lobbying registration for Pakistan and Equatorial Guinea. The firm stated that Raphel “has not rendered services for these foreign principals since [November 2007 and February 2008].”
FARA experts said the discrepancies were unusual, but could be excused as clerical errors and on their own were unlikely to trigger a counterintelligence investigation.
“Not standing alone. Maybe [the filings would prompt] a letter of question, nothing more,” one attorney who specializes in FARA issues told the Free Beacon. “I don’t think there would be any inference of nefarious conduct based on that.”
Still, the disclosures highlight Raphel’s close professional ties with the Pakistani government, which critics have cited to claim she is biased against India.
Cassidy & Associates waited barely one month after Raphel left the firm before lobbying their former employee on Pakistan issues, meeting with her on Sept. 2, Sept. 26 and Sept. 27 of 2009, as well as several times in November.
According to disclosure records, Cassidy & Associates lobbyists had conversations with Raphel about the Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act and “aid priorities and funding mechanisms for development in Pakistan.”
“We are reviewing our filings, but Ms. Raphel has not worked for Cassidy since July, 2009,” said a spokesman for Cassidy & Associates.
While the Obama administration has restrictions on lobbyists joining the administration, Raphel was not subject to these rules because she was not a presidential appointee.
Raphel, a long-time diplomat, is a frequent guest on think tank panels and a respected voice in Washington’s Pakistan policy circles.
“I would be flabbergasted beyond belief if she did anything deliberately and knowingly that is illegal,” said C. Christine Fair, an assistant professor at Georgetown University and a South Asia policy expert. “I’m appalled by the allegations that have been flung at her without evidence. Everyone should wait for evidence and recall that all are innocent until proven guilty.”
Raphel served as both assistant secretary of state and ambassador to Tunisia under the Clinton administration. Her first husband, Arnold Raphel, was a former U.S. ambassador to Pakistan and was killed along with Pakistani President Muhammad Zia ul-Haq in a 1988 plane crash.
