At ALIPAC we are so focused on the business of trying to stop politicians from helping the costly and deadly illegal alien invasion of America that we do not often share the stories that go on our homepage about the atrocities with our email list.

For those of you that are not visiting our site as often as you should, and for those of you that feel email alerts are burden, or that you just don't have time to make the calls we ask you to... please remember the vast amount of carnage, loss, and destruction going on in every state due to the non enforcement of our existing border and immigration laws. Only through great deception combined with intense public apathy can these crimes occur. These are just a small sample of the thousands of people harmed by illegal aliens this past week. Age of sexual consent in Mexico is 12!

An example of this attitude can be found in Mexican national Diego Lopez-Mendez, who pleaded guilty in 2006 to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old West Virginia girl. Through an interpreter, he told the court: "In the pueblo where I grew up girls are usually married by 13 years old…I was unaware of the nature of the offense or that it was a bad crime."

I am of Mexican descent and ignorance of the law is no excuse. He should receive what ever punishment the law prescribes. This is precisely why we have immigration laws which require aliens to study our language, laws and our culture so that this type of situation will not happen. It's called assimilation. A 10 year old is a child in any language.

This is why we need control of the border and the ability to screen those whom we allow to enter our country. Tell this to the mega rich, amnesty, open borders lobby. All the mega-rich want is bodies to groom their horses.

ALIPAC, good post. People need be told this stuff. Those who know better and yet do nothing would be better people if they got a good case of a guilty conscience.

I don't think that Americans are apathetic. IMO the problem is that both the liberal and conservative media outlets make sure that Americans are not given the opportunity to make the connection between illegal aliens and unemploymnet and/or stagnent wages. In order for the Lefties to give people the info they need, the Lefties would have to criticise 'Bama directly. Criticism of 'Bama from the left has been beyond the pale since way back when he first became a serious contender for the presidency. In order for the Righties to give people the info they need, the Righties would have to admit that the only reason that they're on the amnesty bandwagon is that their big donors want a docile, unorganized work force. Hmmm.

It's up to people who care about the quality of American life to do everything we can to make info available. The illegalimmigration site will get info out to some people. But even there I think that it would be a good idea to hammer away at the connection between illegal aliens and jobs. That tactic should work, because jobs and unemployment rank high on Americans' concerns. It also has the virtue of coming from truth. Illegals do undercut Americans for jobs and they do have a depressing effect on wages. That effect may not be large, but when you have to budget, to make sure that the rent is paid and that you can also put food on the table, any dimunition is a serious one. That doesn't mean that we should avoid unsavory topics. It just means that we're serving steak along with the sizzle.

At the moment, blogging and writing and calling seem like the best ways to get info to people about the reality of illegal aliens. We might include media folks on our contact lists, to see if we can generate some interest in sites which advocate for Americans.
