Crazybird, you can come live close to me. I think it is pretty safe here, though I am sure that there are still some crimes that happen.

I am a grandmother, but...not the typical age for one (40, grandson is 3, his mother is 25...yes, I was YOUNG). I have chased two burglars out of our place before, and have taken on anarchists in downtown Portland (yes...sigh, it got physical, he grabbed some papers from me, it REALLY ticked me off!), but I will gladly be escort to those who feel vlunerable, plus, I carry a 6 foot tall, 180# 14 year old around with me .

I will say this also crazybird, my mother is all of 5' 2", weighing in at about 100 pounds, and even her former football player (40 something) boss is afraid of a confrontation with her, she is 68. It is all in the attitude and how you appear. She always told me as a girl "you will only appear as vulnerable as you want to appear, be careful of that" (besides, I had to get some thick skin and fight back, I have four older brothers).

I know sometimes just being in certain places can make anyone feel vlunerable. We have a neighborhood in our town like that, it was the neighborhood we lived in when I ran off the burglars. It is a bad place. Do your best to stay away from the areas that do not look so good (my husband says south Chicago!).

I'm a girl and I've been alone here for 25 years and can't imagine anyone messing with me. I worked 25 years with the low-functioning aggressive retarded population. I love my job, it was the state government that I didn't like, not them!
Last week I sent emails to 30 reps here and had The State Capitol Security call me?? I had two sentences in the email. "I hope you will vote for the SAVE Act if it is mentioned. I'm keeping an eye on you." They told the security that they don't often get emails so they wanted me checked out to see if I was sane. Little do they know but I'm NOT!! LOL

Why do they publish their email addresses then? Evidently they all talked among themselves and they didn't know what The Save Act was????
If Palestine puts down their guns, there will be peace.
If Israel puts down their guns there will be no more Israel.
