Thread: Anyone Watch Heroes last night??

I've been a little annoyed with one of the storylines where they feature two illegal alien siblings illegally crossing the border into Mexico (where they are captured and nearly killed by the military), and then attempting to sneak over the border into the U.S.

Here is part of the recap from last night:

Meanwhile, Maya and her fellow travelers sneak across the [U.S.] border where they are threatened by the "Citizens Border Patrol." Maya intentionally loses control and kills the patrol members. Alejandro warns Maya against Sylar and tells her the next time her eyes blacken, he's leaving. Sylar flat-out says he plans on killing them both.

Seemed like quite the jab at the Minutemen. They portrayed them as violent American redneck hicks who beat on the "poor illegals" car as they drove through a gap in the border where the "fence had not yet been built." Then of course, Maya killed them.

I love the Heroes TV show, but this particular storyline with illegals Maja and Alejandro has left me a bit cold, and I'm hoping this storyline will end soon, and not be dragged out for the whole season.

i saw it and it makes me sick . i am drafting a letter to them today.

log into the heroes board and there is a section for people who did not like it everyone should join up and complain.

I almost watched that show last night, but got more interested in "How Do I Look"

Don't watch the show anymore. By them doing that, it is a slap to all Americans who oppose amnesty. And it also puts down the Minutemen. The show sucks anyway-SCREW THEM!

I've never watched that show-I'm definitely not going to start now!

I don't watch heroes. When the networks finally get a good show, Jericho (CBS) for instance, they want to cancel it. I faithfully watch Lou Dobbs, anything else is hit or miss. I'm sick of the pandering to illegals- and the Cialis commercials.

Jericho wasn't cancelled? When/where is it on? My father told me about it and I downloaded most of the episodes 1-19. 1-6 sucked, stretched out soap opera like they messed up Enterprise with. However, after that it got pretty interesting.

Last I heard it will be cancelled. There was a big bru-ha-ha over the cancellation so CBS decided to re-air the last 5 or so episodes (up to the point of killing off Gerald McCraney sp?), that was a couple of months ago. There's supposed to be 7 new episodes in the spring line-up 2008. After that- cancelled. Too much controversy, you know- what with folks surviving a nuclear bomb, defending themselves against private armies and invaders, making do without a central goverment.....Must've really scared somebody in Washington DC.....
