I'm afraid you're right. They are already here, awaiting the orders to strike. Bush, et al are more concerned with implementing the NAU than with the security of our nation. Greed!

When it happens I'm sure they will be counting the billions of dollars they'll lose in the stock market while the American body count will be an after thought. How did we get here?

Like Joseph did in Egypt, we should be preparing for that attack. Its good for us to be layng up stores, preparing a nuclear fallout shelter room within our dwellings and keeping arms and amunition at the ready in case of attack.
I would advise that we be sure to have food stores and particularly pay attention to the procedure for surviving nuclear attack. I think it will involve nuclear weapons, as well as a slashing attack with machetes by the Mara Salvatrucha 13. The buzz is that its coming this summer.

But just as Israel withstood terrorist attacks only for so long, then built their wall in the face of much international accusations of Naziism, this second attack will give us the momentum we need to get our wall built. That is, if we can stop the enactment of the martial law set up.

With all due respect, DcSA, I do not believe that will work. The Republicans will never support this. Not even the best of them. I've never signed an impeachment petition, but I've been angry enough to and said it a few times.

You have a very good point, Legal. We sure don't want Pelosi - even for a day! And you're probably right that Repubs wouldn't move to impeach...But the impeachment isn't the goal. If Bush feels the continued wrath that is out here, Senators like Sessions can work the soft sell on him and show him how he can have a "Legacy" after all by being the first president in 40 years to secure the border. I'm suggesting we use the impeachment threat as a pressure.

I was looking at that petition the other day, and another that already has almost a million signatures. I didn't know if they'd be good to use, or not.
Even though the one with the million signatures is specifically anti-war, for shock effect the number of signatures would seem to be more important than the text of the petition. I'm really not sure if its better to use an old, well-signed petition that doesn't mention the border issue, or start a new one with the enforcement issue and have few signatures to start. Or is it better to leave out the petition and just continue with the "WE ARE D**N MAD" (and we want to impeach you) PHONE CAMPAIGN.
