    Banned Books Week: 25 titles you won't believe got banned

    This is from the La Times wait till you read what they are and why they were banned....



    Where there are books, there seem to be people who want to ban them. Why? Sometimes it's because there's language they don't like, or ideas they're uncomfortable with. And sometimes... well, it's because people seem to be able to take offense at just about anything. Check out this list of 25 books that have been banned for all sorts of bizarre reasons.

    So much for Free Speech and Freedom of Expression, etc.

    As you probably know, Texas has been having a showdown in the education world in the attempt to rewrite History. I think that there are those who want Texas History books to focus on more Mexican history than US history and the ridiculous assertion that Texas was the property of Mexico that was stolen by all of us greedy Americans.
