(Editor’s note: Colin Flaherty has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of skyrocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse. WND features these reports to counterbalance the virtual blackout by the rest of the media due to their concerns that reporting such incidents would be inflammatory or even racist. WND considers it racist not to report racial abuse solely because of the skin color of the perpetrators or victims.) Videos linked or embedded may contain foul language and violence.

    Video at the Page Link:

Here is what the local newspapers did not report about the mob of dozens of motorcycle riders who chased, stopped and beat the father of a young Asian family on a Sunday afternoon in New York City: One, the mob was black, says the police report. Two, this is merely the latest of several such examples of racial violence on wheels, witnesses say.

Except this one is on video. All six minutes and 27 seconds of it. Recorded on the helmet-cam of one of the members of the black motorcycle mob.

“The newspapers say it was a motorcycle gang,” said one veteran member of New York’s law enforcement community. “That makes you think it was a white gang, like the Hell’s Angels. But it was the total opposite.”

Cops busted the psycho biker who allegedly started the confrontation that ended with an SUV driver being badly beaten — as sources said another cyclist hurt in the mayhem may be paralyzed for life, sources told the New York Post Tuesday.

Biker suspect Christopher Cruz, 28, of Passaic, NJ, was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing in the attack on Alexian Lien, 33, who had been out with his family for a Sunday drive in Upper Manhattan.

As the video begins, a black Range Rover is heading north in the direction of Harlem. Driving is Lien, his wife and child are also in the car – now being pursued and surrounded by more than 50 bikers.

It is not clear what, if anything, happened before the video begins.

Twenty-seven seconds into the video, a biker performs a “brake check:” In moving traffic, he pulls his motorcycle up to a few feet in front of the Range Rover then, looking at the rear of his bike and the front of the car, he slows down until his rear tire contacts the car’s front bumper.

Black mobs routinely terrorize cities across the country, but the media and government are silent. Read the detailed account of rampant racial crime in “White Girl Bleed A Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It.”

The Post picks up the scene:

“One biker then pulled directly in front and slowed down, forcing the SUV to stop, and the others converged on the Range Rover, laying their bikes down on the pavement to block the vehicle.

“The panicked dad then gunned the engine and ran over several bikes before speeding off with the pack in hot pursuit, police sources said Monday.”

Others say several members of the black mob attempted to open the SUV’s door.

With bikers signaling to each other, the high speed pursuit continued for another 50 blocks until “during one of the stops, one of the bikers slashed one or more tires on the SUV, forcing the driver to exit at West 178th Street in Washington Heights,” said the Post.

Finally, stuck in traffic on West 178th between Wadsworth and St. Nicholas avenues, the bikers surrounded the SUV, and several men attacked the vehicle with their fists and helmet, breaking at least one window. The bikers slashed the father’s tires while one opened the driver’s door and tried to pull the terrified dad out, sources said. The Range Rover came to a stop there because of heavy traffic and the deflated tires.

The video stops. The Post continues: “The crew then beat the man in front of his wife and child. The victim was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital with two black eyes, and also needed stitches on his face and chest.”

Video from a camera on one of the biker’s helmets shows a man with a Guyana sticker on the back of his blue bike watching as another biker smashed Lien’s window with his helmet.

The New York ABC affiliate called it a “brawl.” The web site Heavy.com said it was a case of “road rage” on the part of the SUV driver.

The video quickly went viral, with some people insisting that one or two of the bikers were “white or Hispanic,” despite the police report to the contrary. While others chastised the driver for antagonizing the bikers.

Jeremiah Meises (pictured left and right) was allegedly run over by Alexian Lien during the dramatic confrontation

Despite initial reports that one biker sustained minor injuries, later it was learned the rapper Jay Meezee is hospitalized and may be paralyzed after the SUV allegedly ran him over.

Meezee’s father is a prominent Boston-area Hispanic evangelical minister. But his son’s appearance and music are racially ambiguous: The lyrics – and his frequent appearances on black radio – are full of N-Bombs and contain stories of prison, drug addiction, violence and life “in the hood.”

He also appears in several videos with large groups of motorcycles tearing through downtown streets. His motorcycle helmet brags he is “reckless.” And his pictures display him proudly showing off concrete burns typical of injuries received in motorcycle accidents.

His friends have set up a website to pay for his hospital bills.

Many blame the SUV for running over Meezee for no reason whatsoever: Meezee was just trying to help his friend.

They chastised the driver for antagonizing the bikers.

“Sure wish I could have seen the whole video of that a– hole getting his a– kicked and dragged all over the street for being such a piece of s—,” said one commenter on YouTube. “Got some money and think they’re untouchable and can do whatever they want. Lucky that he only got his a– kicked and not killed.”

But several other New Yorkers also took to YouTube to report their experiences with that – and similar – mobs.
“I saw these a**holes in the city yesterday before the incident, Running red lights and causing traffic like they own the streets. Nothing but Thugs on bikes! I would’ve done the same,” said one.
Another spotted the same mob all over the city.
“These savages drove throughout Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and The Bronx yesterday. They were on sidewalks, they were going against traffic. They were looking for trouble and unfortunately for this man and his family, they were picked on.”
    And not just yesterday:
During the warmer months, these gangs – comprised of hundreds of cycles – take over the West Side Highway (here) and the FDR. This has happened to me (and my family) twice. The cyclists harass the drivers, speeding up, slowing down to a crawl, weaving in and out, clogging traffic.

They surround the cars. Their intent is to intimidate, to harass and to cause an altercation. On one occasion, my wife and I were so frightened we pulled off and drove local. They were looking for a fight.
Michael Joiner could not help but notice the difference between how the press treated this roving band of dangerous bikers and the bikers who participated in the “Two Million Bikers” rally on 9/11 in Washington, D.C.

“In Washington recently, we had miles and miles of bike riders who were scorned or ignored by the liberal media,” said Michael Joiner, an actor and a comedian. “But the media is protecting the black bikers who terrorized this innocent family. I only wish Ted Nugent had been driving.”

This is the second high-profile assault in Harlem in September.

Earlier in the month, 20 black people on bicycles taunted and assaulted a white doctor who lives and works in Harlem.

He was out for an evening stroll when the bicyclists found him, broke his jaw, and knocked out a few teeth. He said his attackers were not representative of all the good people in Harlem.

Christopher Cruz, 28, has been arrested in relation to the hideous attack on a Range Rover driver on the Westside Highway in Manhattan, reports CBS New York.
Here's what you need to know about him:
    1. He is to be Charged With a String of Offenses

Cruz is charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing. The incident occurred on September 29 on the Westside Highway and has been spun out-of-control online thanks to a viral video that was leaked of the incident.

    2. He Too Was Treated in Hospital

Cruz lives in Passaic, New Jersey. He was hospitalized after the incident with minor back pain but released soon after. The New York Times said that erroneous early reporting had said that Cruz had suffered two broken legs in the incident, which was later corrected.

    3. He Did Not Take Part in the Most Harrowing Part of the Video

Cruz was not part of the group that pursued Range Rover driver, Alexian Lien, up into Washington Heights, on West 178th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue where Lien is alleged to have been severely beaten. He was part of the initial confrontation when Cruz accused Lien of cutting him off on the Westside Highway. He remained in Harlem as his fellow bikers sped off in pursuit of Lien.

    4. Cruz Was Arraigned Just Hours After His Arrest

Cruz arrested on Tuesday morning at 1 a.m. He will be arraigned in New York on October 1.

    5. The Bikers Aren't Helping the Investigation

A police source told The New York Post that the biker gang, known as The Hollwood Stunz, were not helping inquiries:
The motorcyclists are being uncooperative, those that have been interviewed. They’ve spoken to two of them [Cruz and another] and they’re full of crap. They’re saying they didn’t see anything. They’re saying, ‘I was just standing there.’ It’s a joke. They’re tracking down the others. They went out to Brooklyn last night to look for a third guy.

NYC Motorcyle Attack: Christopher Cruz, 28, arrested in connection with road rage incident involving SUV

By Crimesider Staff Topics Daily Blotter

(CBS/AP) NEW YORK - A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault of a man by a mob of bikers while he was driving with his family on a New York City highway.

Christopher Cruz, 28, was charged on Tuesday morning with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing . Police say he was involved in the initial accident.

Cruz was not injured in the accident.

The assault on the 33-year-old man, identified by CBS New York as Alexian Lien, began around 1:30 p.m. Sunday on the West Side Highway after he got into an accident with one of the bikers around 125th Street. After the driver and motorcyclist pulled over, they were quickly surrounded by 20 to 30 bikers who began damaging the victim's Range Rover, police said.

Lien, who was traveling with his wife and toddler, struck two other bikers while fleeing, police said. The other bikers gave chase, pursuing him for about 2 1/2 miles, and again surrounded the vehicle. They pulled the man from the SUV and beat him, police said.

Lien was taken to a hospital where he required stitches to his face. His wife and child were not injured.

Police said one biker suffered two broken legs after the SUV ran over him and another biker suffered a leg injury.

    Lien has not been charged.

According to CBS Boston, the wife of one of the injured bikers says her husband is paralyzed and in a coma.

Dayana Mieses says her husband, Edwin Mieses, got off his bike to help a biker who was hit in the initial collision and was injured in the process, reports the station. She says her husband has injuries to his heart, lungs and ribs and that he is paralyzed from the waist down.
"That man paralyzed my husband," Mieses said of Lien. "He needs to pay for what he did."

Police believe some of the bikers belong to a gang known as Hollywood Stuntz. They said the motorcyclists were part of a planned but unauthorized event in which hundreds of riders gathered outside of Manhattan, with the intent of driving into Times Square en masse.

The family of a biker hit by a Range Rover that was trying to escape a swarm of motorcyclists in New York City on Sunday claim he may never walk again as another rider has turned himself in following the violent altercation.

The injured biker, Jeremiah Mieses, 26, from Lawrence, Massachusetts, was among a group of motorcyclists knocked down by Alexian Lien, who was trying to protect his family after he was pursued by the group.

A Facebook group set up to support Mieses, a father, and his family claims that he is paralyzed from the waist down and in a coma - despite police claiming no one apart from Lien had been hurt in the incident. They say he also suffered broken ribs and crushed lungs.

'My son is out of surgery thank God,' Mieses' father, the Rev. Edwin Mieses, wrote on his own Facebook page. 'Now comes dealing with him not able to walk again.'

Meanwhile, police sources confirmed to MailOnline on Tuesday afternoon that another motorcyclist has turned himself in.

The biker, Allen Edwards, 42, of Queens surrendered after police released a photo of him. He was being questioned Tuesday night but hasn't yet been charged.

Sources told the New York Daily News said Edwards was the biker shown in an online video pounding on the rear window of Lien's Range Rover while another enraged motorcyclist bashed in the driver's-side window using his helmet.

Police were still searching for other motorcyclists who dragged Lien out of the Range Rover and beat and slashed him.

The chase came after a biker, Christopher Cruz, was allegedly driving erratically, causing him to be hit by 33-year-old Lien, who was driving his Range Rover with his wife and child inside.

When other bikers pursued and cornered him, he plowed through them - breaking the legs of two of the riders. But they eventually caught up with him, smashed the window of his car, pulled him from the vehicle and punched him and sliced him with a knife.

Police said they believe he panicked as he feared for the safety of his wife, Rosalyn Ng, and their two-year-old child, who were both inside the vehicle during the daylight chase.

On Tuesday, Cruz, 28, from Passaic, New Jersey, was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child.

Arrest: Christopher Cruz is pictured (in white) before he was rear-ended by Range Rover driver Alexian Lien on Sunday - which sparked a massive chase. Cruz has been arrested for reckless driving

Fears: Lien needed stitches after he was attacked by bikers in New York on Sunday as he tried to protect his wife and child. He hit some bikers in a bid to escape them but they caught up and beat him

Sources told the New York Post that Cruz's driving had sparked the hour-long chase as he was driving erratically, causing Lien to rear-end him.

They also said the group of riders was at first trying to slow Lien down so they could get in front of him and take over the West Side Highway.

Cruz, who is not believed to be among the swarm of bikers who followed the terrified father, was briefly hospitalized and released for minor injuries, including lower back pain, authorities said.

Lien, a Columbia University graduate, was taken to Columbia University Medical Center, where he received stitches. He was later released.

Police said Lien is not expected to be charged, but the investigation is continuing and they are seeking information about the other bikers involved.

Lien, who has a luxury apartment near The New York Stock Exchange in Lower Manhattan, received a 1.30pm bouquet of yellow calla lillies from his colleagues at Credit Suisse.

The Manhattan-based florist, Park Avenue Floratique, confirmed to MailOnline the arrangement was sent was sent by colleagues from financial firm to the 'gentleman who is sick' and said: 'They were beautiful. People are commenting about them.'

Living on the edge: One video, pictured, shows bikes riding through the streets and performing tricks

The footage of the run-in was captured on a helmet camera of a motorcyclist during an annual bikers' event in New York City, at around 2pm on Sunday.

A police spokesman said that Lien recalled how a large number of motorcyclists were driving 'erratically' and he 'accidentally collided with one'.

The footage shows one motorcyclist brake hard in front the the car and seems to get bumped by it.

He pulled over but some of the bikers started to damage the vehicle, he said. The NYPD spokesman told MailOnline the driver drove off 'to avoid an impending assault'.

The video shows the Range Rover accelerate suddenly knocking over bikes and motorcyclists, driving over the top of them.

The footage shows them following the vehicle for several minutes, at times getting close and intimidating the driver. Eventually the bikers surround the vehicle, blocking its path.

Shocking moment car ploughs through crowd of bikers.

Fearful: The bikers had been riding alongside the Range Rover before the incident. Shortly after this moment, the biker in blue jeans - Christopher Cruz - braked

Intimidating: Within minutes, the whole pack has caught up with the vehicle, with the family inside

Seizing an opportunity to confront the driver, one biker dismounts and tries to open the door, but the SUV speeds off again, knocking down at least one more motorcyclist.

The family are eventually brought to a standstill in Manhattan traffic and immediately bikers run to attack the vehicle, smashing the driver's window with a helmet and attempting to smash the rear door window, where the child was sitting. The footage then stops.

The video was posted by a biker, under the name GIXXARDR on Liveleaks, from Melbourne, Australia, this morning. He claims one biker was killed, which the police said was not true.

Already it has received numerous comments, most are in support of Lien.

One person, whose profile name is Sgt Pepper, says: 'I would do exactly the same thing. They're intimidating him and he's probably fearing for his life.'

Altercation: Apparently intimidated, the driver then accelerates away knocking down bikers in its path

Smashed: When they come to a standstill in heavy traffic, it takes moments before a biker jumps off and attacks the vehicle, smashing the driver's window with his helmet

Another, known as 'zacarra' says the driver acted in 'self defense'.

'Did you see the biker break (sic) check him in the beginning. This poor guy was running for his life from the start,' zacarra writes.
'charlesferg' says the NYC has now banned the riders' annual event.

Biker surrenders to New York cops after another arrested for accident that caused attack on SUV driver

Motorcyclist Christopher Cruz allegedly caused an accident with Alexian Lien when he cut off the SUV driver on Sunday. Lien, who was driving his wife and their 2-year-old, stopped but fled when a group of bikers began to damage his Range Rover — and Lien plowed into rider Edwin Mieses, who's been left paralyzed, his mother says.

Sources said Christopher Cruz, 28 (pictured) cut Alexian Lien off on the Henry Hudson Parkway and caused the accident that triggered a wild 4-mile chase through upper Manhattan.

Cops have arrested two of the bikers who they say sparked a hell-on-wheels ordeal in upper Manhattan that ended with a mob beating and slashing a man in front of his wife and 2-year-old.

As Christopher Cruz, 28, was awaiting arraignment on charges stemming from the attack on Alexian Lien, police arrested a second motorcyclist, Allen Edwards, 42, of Queens.

Cops are trying to identify two suspects (pictured) who are also wanted in the beating and slashing a Manhattan man in front of his family.

Lien ran over one biker — Edwin Mieses, 32 — as he tried to escape the pack of bikers on Henry Hudson Parkway.

Cruz was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Edwards surrendered after police released a photo of him. He was charged Tuesday night with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and menacing, police said.

Mieses was in a medically induced coma at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, family said.

NEW YORK A motorcycle rider seriously injured when an SUV ran him over after a New York City highway altercation was recently arrested in Massachusetts for driving with a revoked license.
Edwin Mieses Jr., of Lawrence, Mass., was struck on Sunday. He broke both legs and suffered a spine injury that his family says will leave him paralyzed.

According to police and Massachusetts motor vehicle records, Mieses hasn't had a valid license or permit to drive in the state since 1999. He also never applied for a motorcycle license.
It isn't clear if he had been licensed in any other state.
He was arrested most recently on May 24 in Andover, Mass., and has had dozens of other violations.
    His attorney had no comment.
Mieses' friends and family held a rally for him Wednesday evening outside of St. Luke's-Roosevelt hospital and have said that the Lawrence, Mass.-resident, known as Jay Meezee, is the true victim. Jaime Reyes said his friend was doing well, all things considered.

"Hopefully I get to see him walk again and ride again and share special moments with him again," he said. "But for right now, we're all just praying for him and thinking positive that he's going to pull through and make it through this."
His wife, Dayana Mieses, said the motorcycle riders had wrongly been vilified in the episode.
"When you look at the video, you can see he's running over something," Diana Mieses said. "It's not just a motorcycle; it's a human being that was under there."
