Thread: Citizen Fence Project?

If our gov't fails. We have proven that men and women of this country are willing to take to the borders and spend their time and money to track and report the illegal activity. Perhaps further action will fall squarely upon the American men and women.

If the gov't fails. Just maybe we could string together property close to the border in a state and begin working, and building ourselves a wall. Perhaps we could illicit donations from concerned citizens. We would not need government permission, just the written and signed permission of the property owners.

I started trying to sell the idea: For a Buck, Buy a Brick for the Border and let volunteers build it. I bet I've been saying that since '96. Make it a non-profit and solicited brick dollars.

Also, once upon a time you could get a lot of free surplus bricks from jobsites. Now they are being used, without a building permits, to reface houses and to build, out of code fences... My neighborhood is become a very ugly place.

Someone needs to solidify all the fence post.

We need funding for a Wall of Americans. The fence won't stop them unless its guarded.

Hey, maybe we could raise 2 to 3 years of funding for the Wall of Americans the same way!?!?!

$2 Billion a year.

Say, $100 per adult for 20,000,000 Americans = $2 Billion.

I just heard last night that the MinuteMen are going to start building fences on the border! I didn't hear all of the segment but they did say they would be building fences on private property. I think THAT would be a great cause to channel donations into. I hope they will set up a "FENCE FUND" where every penny raised goes toward building that fence.

definately. im not sure who runs that site, but if the MM did i think it would go over a lot better.

I read that too, or I watched it on tv EagleEye. What a great idea! I think we could raise some money toward the project.
