    Fines are being increased for employers hiring illegal aliens. First time since 1999. They are talking about the pros and cons. One guy is saying we need comprehensive immigration reform as well as enforcement. (same old crap) The other guy said, make the rules, then enforce the rules.

    The other guy says support the employers, give them guidance with E-Verify. He still says we need reform.

    The friendly guy (from our perspective) was Mark Krikorian from the CIS (Center for Immigration Studies). He did ok, but could have really hammered the OBL talking head (whom I have never seen before) - just another shill for big business..."comprehensive immigration reform", "punishes employers" (my response: uh-hum, how about the businesses that do businesses LEGALLY?!?!?!), etc.

    That was it. Short and not so sweet. Hard to get anyone to report on this, although the anchor did say this issue will be tied into the worsening economy. In which way, she didn't say.

    McCain made a speech earlier on the news saying we need to close the border then deal with the 12 million in a humane way because we are a country of christions...blah blah blah same old thing!!!
