FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to prohibit the employment of illegal aliens and to provide a penalty therefor.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:

Section 1. No person may knowingly employ any illegal alien. Any violation of this section is a criminal offense but is punishable only by a fine not to exceed five thousand dollars for each offense.

I'm going to have to have a talk with Hanson as I've been in touch with his office. I didn't receive notification that anything had gone forward. Now I can add more pressure.

It doesn't appear that it's been passed this legislative session. I'm waiting on further reports of the final bill analysis to be released.
