So the main facet of the opposition's argument is to taint pro-enforcement groups with 'guilt by association' as their strongest argument?

Why can't they debate the issue based on objective facts in the public sphere?

Well, I got news for the OBL folks - the US public has awoken on this issue and no longer falls for your shallow and deceptive approach to the problem.
If you want adherents or even listeners to your point of view, get serious about doing the right thing and helping to end unlawful behavior. Most Americans have to, and DO, obey the law. They will not extend special privileges to persons that have knowingly broken several laws to get here, work here, and stay here. I don't get that luxury, why should anyone else?

Their attack method will be to call all groups front-groups for FAIR. Which by itself is a weak argument. FAIR has been a straigh-arrow group with no evidence of racism.

FIRM's argument against FAIR would be equal to calling the Democrat party a racist groups because its longest terming senator, Robert Byrd from West Virginia, was a member of the KKK. Guilt by association.

(yeah, THAT old document!) explicitly forbids the practice of 'guilt by association'. 'Nuff said!

Ditto to the comments above. Bottom line: FAIR is a mainstream, highly credible organization which is giving a voice (along with Numbers, ALIPAC etc.) to hardworking, taxpaying citizens from all backgrounds who are fed up with the radical agenda of the OBL.

We all know the definition of a "hate group" to the SPLC it is anyone who disagree's with them or their plans for the United States. Anyone who wants law and order restored to our country and anyone who does not believe in aiding and abetting criminals.

I think this is mostly old stuff from 2006. Center for New Community tried to take on ALIPAC and we smashed them up and exposed them as liars pretty bad. Since then, they have exerted very little presence in this debate while their residual material remains online.

Someone needs to break those links in the first so post so they get no benefits from our web power here at ALIPAC.
