Cult YouTube gun channel boss found shot dead on rural Georgia road

• 32-year-old man leaves behind a wife and two-year-old son

An operator of a highly popular YouTube channel dedicated to high-powered guns and explosives was found mysteriously shot to death, authorities said.

Keith Ratliff, who was a business partner at FPSRussia, YouTube's ninth most popular channel with more than three million active subscribers and a combined half billion views, was discovered on a rural road in Carnesville, Georgia.

Ratliff had a single gunshot wound the head and police are treating his death as a homicide.

When authorities made the grisly discovery on Thursday, they noticed there were several guns near Ratliff, according to a local radio station report.

'For him not to pull out that gun and try to defend himself, he had to feel comfortable around somebody. Either that or he was ambushed,' said Ratliff's heartbroken widow, Amanda.

'You know, it just doesn't really add up,' she told atelevision station.

'We all want to know and we all want justice to be done,' Amanda says. 'He had way to much to look forward to in his life.'



Tragedy: Ratliffe had a wife and a two-year-old son

Amanda said their two-year-old son is having a terrible time adjusting to life without his father.

'It was really hard. To know that he's going to go the rest of his life without his dad,' Amanda said, as their child, Jayden, clutched a picture of his dad that was taken on Christmas Eve.

Besides running the YouTube channel, Ratliff was also the owner of FPS Industries, which works in customized weaponry.
It is located in Carnesville, which is about a 90 minute drive from Atlanta.

Ratliff, who lived in Frankfort, Kentucky, with his family, wrote on his LinkedIn profile about his company, 'After a life of loving firearms and computers. I have combined both into one great new business that offers both viral marketing and quality firearms from one place.'

FPS is short-hand for first person shooter amongst video gamers.

Disingenuousness and deception with regard to discussions of gun control in America “Fundamental Transformation” to Chill the Blood - Erik Rush During an ABC Nightline interview broadcast on December 26, 2012, President Barack Obama said that one benefit of his re-election was the ability “to have men with guns around at all times.” This week, Obama signed a bill extending armed Secret Service protection for former US presidents to the remainder of their natural lives. I’m sure the irony of all this juxtaposed against his ongoing effort to disarm law-abiding Americans has not escaped the reader. On January 3, Keith Ratliff, a 32 year-old firearms enthusiast, was found fatally shot in the head in his Carnesville, Georgia home. Police are investigating the case as a homicide. Ratliff’s YouTube channel for fellow firearm enthusiasts was ranked as one of the top 10 channels on YouTube with 3.4 million subscribers and more than 537 million views. Although I have no proof, my inclination is to suspect that the Obama administration or one of its surrogates is responsible for Ratliff’s death, the first of many such executions that will take place in order to silence individuals whom the government deems a threat to their oligarchical collectivist agenda. There; I’ve said it.I am sick to death over the disingenuousness and deception with regard to discussions of gun control in America and the blatant attempts of the Obama administration and the political left to capitalize on recent violence perpetrated with firearms (some of which, for the record, may have been orchestrated) in order to coalesce the power of a government that edges closer to tyranny with each passing hour. And although it can be easily explained, the obliviousness on the part of a large segment of the American people (who will ultimately accept whatever measure our would-be dictator devises) of what is occurring before their very eyes is equally sickening. We – and here I mean everyone from the water cooler to the radio mic – need to stop talking about politicians being ignorant of firearms laws, crime, and the Second Amendment. They know the realities of these things quite well; their rhetoric is propaganda calculated to deceive those they have helped to render ignorant on those very subjects. The objective is an unarmed populace, unable to resist a tyrannical government. How many times do we have to say it? On January 7, radio personality Glenn Beck advised his listeners “For those of you who are still playing the political game, I suggest you stop.” He also referenced having come by information concerning “GOP operatives” who are involved in things “so shady” that “it will probably destroy the GOP.” Americans can no longer look to the minority of virtuous men and women among Republicans in office; these have been sold out by Republican leaders who have either accepted or endorsed the makeover of America into a socialist state. The trial balloon launched this week by Vice President Joe Biden vis-à-vis the President using the Executive Order to regulate guns was calculated to determine the public’s reaction to unilateral action on the part of Obama. The only people upon which Americans can depend will be each other, private organizations, and a few intrepid state and county officials. Days ago, Sheriff Denny Peyman of Jackson County Kentucky said that his office “will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore to uphold.” We can be encouraged by such gestures, but we must also bear in mind that the White House’s gun-grabbing plan is but one component in the larger agenda to transform America, as it were. Barack Obama is indeed playing a significant part in this tragic comedy, but he only wishes to see America brought down; whether it is by Islamofascists, communism, economic upheaval, or a misadventurous asteroid matters little to him, in my view. If that of which informed conservative and libertarians are already aware is deeply disturbing, Obama’s designs, and measures which his administration have already set into motion behind the scenes will truly chill the blood.God Willing, these will also come to light before it is too late. Whether there is still time to implement effective remedies to them remains to be seen.
