Here is your chance to speak out agains the National ID Card.

Tennessee's Governor Bredesen is taking a tally of those opposed to the Real ID being implemented in Tennessee.

Call 615-741-2001 and let his secretary know that your are opposed to the Real ID. She doesn't ask for your name or contact information; she's just taking a tally. TAKES 5 SECONDS

No Problem, we may as well help out those other states too.

I received this information form another group who is fighting the Real ID. Strange how we all seem to find one another.

I heard Mark Sanford, he is governor, correct, on Lou Dobbs speaking out strongly against the Real ID. He said it is better to have 50 different ids (drivers licenses) that someone wants to duplicate than one ID that would be easy to duplicate.

The REAL ID will not be easy to duplicate (that's the whole idea behind it). Individual state driver's licenses not meeting REAL ID requirements will be much easier to duplicate (are much easier). Furthermore, the REAL ID Act will prevent states from issuing actual driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
