    Wasn't her appointment one of those 'recess' appointments so she didn't have to be questioned by congress? I thought I heard that.
    One and the same. Her uncle is General Richard Myers--former Joint Chief of the Armed Forces. And, it definitely was a recess appointment. Her new husband also works for the administration in some capacity. Convenient, huh?
