Most legal experts would disagree with that assessment. Plus, as has been explained by some of the experts, it's difficult to figure out exactly what the founding fathers intended. That ambiguity is exactly why this has become an issue.

I realize it has been cleared up somewhat, but there is still some ambiguity. My interest is in why would someone vote Hillary versus Cruz when clearly they are diametrically opposite on immigration and that is the pool we are all swimming in. If he is not a citizen, then I don't believe he would even be a choice. Is this a personal belief that is consistent with what I just furnished and would lean that way, but may no longer apply or has been modified to accommodate Cruz' situation?

It is relevant because he needed to renounce it. How could it not be relevant if he needed to renounce it?
