Thanks for the post Zeezil.
The group of co-sponsors is not much of a surprise. Basically, it's the core OBL group in the senate. Most of which are Dems, but include a few Reps like: Craig, Hagel, Martinez, Specter, etc."If my family wasn’t safe, what makes you think yours will be?"

Populist - thanks to you too. That's a good idea (I haven't caught a glimpse of the co-sponsors list until now. That good info to have)

I can't imagine the Dems would deny them these benefits given their track record. Imagine adding millions of low wage workers and their masses of children to our already overtaxed school systems, hospitals, jails, prisons, welfare and food stamp programs, etc. Because you know that all these farmworkers and their families will automatically qualify for every taxpayer funded social service program in existence. I cannot see a single farmworker who would make enough to not be ineligible for these programs, since the average farmworker makes less than $10,000 a year. Being as the number they are talking about is up to 5 million farmworkers and nearly every one will have a wife and at least half a dozen children, each farmworker turns into a family unit of 7 people. So instead of bringing in 5 million we are now talking about 35 new million moochers, all on welfare, getting food stamps, WIC, MediCaid, MediCal or some other state funded healthcare program, SSI, you name it.The spouse and minor children may adjust to permanent resident status once the farmworker does so.[b][i][size=117]"Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.â€

Just a note on the OP post from Zeezil, I was comparing lists of senators re: AgJobs and related things, and one interesting aspect already stands out to me.
Below are the senators on the Ag Committee:
Harkin (Chair)
Leahy
Conrad
Baucus
Lincoln
Stabenow
Nelson (NE)
Salazar
Brown
Casey
Klobuchar
Chambliss
Lugar
Cochran
McConnell
Roberts
Graham
Coleman
Crapo
Thune
Grassley
Only 4 of those have openly declared themselves as cosponsors of AgJobs so far: Casey, Harkin, Leahy, and Salazar.
Or, stated in reverse, most of those on the Ag Committee didn't see fit to sign on to this version of the AgJobs bill.. . well, enough to cosponsor it anyway."If my family wasn’t safe, what makes you think yours will be?"

Interesting observation Phred. Maybe the Agricultural Committee can block Ag Jobs from being added to the Farm Bill, if they hear enough from ALIPAC and the American people!
Here's the Thomas website for S. 340 AgJOBS Act of 2007:
