That's funny. I scoff in their face. They cannot even defend their own country against what amounts to a handfull of narco terrorists and they think they can defeat this nation? Just goes to show they do not understand Americans. I've been following this racist tool for some time.

People like him allude to, but never specifically identify, the existence of a group of warriors ready to wage war against the Gringo's who stole their lands.

It's meant to stir up the people on BOTH sides; ours and the ones he hopes to recruit by making folks think there is a large army of Reconquistas for them to join and ready to take care of business.

The truth is that if AZTLAN (the American Southwest) is "lost" it will be bloodless, quiet, and done politically and through demographic changes.

This racist should have taken the day off and not written a thing!

If Chicago minority graduation rates for African Americans can improve, why can't the same be said for Latinos? Here is an interesting topic that was picked up over the weekend:

In 2005, a study by the Chicago Urban League found that only 38 percent of African American males graduated from high school in the city of Chicago. In 2011, a study by the African American Libertarian Alliance finds that 43 percent of African American males graduate from high school. 56 percent of African American females graduate high school. In total, half of the African American population of students in Chicago graduate high school.

This certainly isn't the same for Latinos. In Chicago, the high school graduation rate for Latinos sits at 42 percent. In Phoenix, the rate is a little bit higher at 44 percent. "Things have improved," says Chicanos Unidos Arizona leader Cecilia Maldonado. "However, Latinos are still held back by immigration status and racism."

National Council of La Raza does not support La Reconquista

There are some Phoenix La Raza members who are also members of groups that support the takeover of the Southwest by Mexico, specifically Take Back Aztlán and Nuestros Reconquistos. However, it is important to clarify that the National Council of La Raza does not support any violent or forced takeover of the United States.

Chicanos Civil Rights professor Aaron Fuentes explains it like this:

“La Raza is a powerful civil rights group that supports the rights of Latinos, documented or undocumented, in the United States. They are sometimes radical. However, their goal is for Latinos to win influence by votes rather than guns. They believe the idea of “La Reconquistaâ€
