I have been multi tasking on this one, but other than contacting Menendez, I have contacted mostly Republicans....

sounds like we need to hit the Democrats hard tomorrow, so that is what I will do and will work on both to kill two birds with one stone.

Hi MW. The calls by me personally on E Verify have been many. I call every day to several offices of each senator. I am making calls on the bailout also because both involve illegal aliens and both will cost us dearly, one if it does not go through (E Verify) and the other one if it does go through (Bailout).

I was so mad about this bailout today, that I forgot to make a plug for E-Verify. But no loss. I called them all back again and let them have it.

MW hope I didn't sound against you, I'm not.
I was letting you know I'm dealing with both and making calls and sending emails.

It's just that both are intertwined. I see the illegal issue in the ACORN people getting any money at all. I keep checking the USA numbers website too.

I've been schooling my email contact list on ACORN by sending them sites on their fraud. Then I tell them to add not giving ACORN any money, to the email to our Senators and Congressmen.

I post in our 2 newspapers. I'm the one they call a bigot or xenophobe....
Usually if I preface it with I'm not a bigot or xenophobe, and also say I'm for LEGAL immigration. Usually they won't say it as I've already denied it.

Do we have any Numbers members here who can alert them about this ACORN part of the bailout? Maybe they would want to join in. So far, I haven't seen anything on Numbers to indicate they are fighting this.

They focus ONLY on illegal immigration.

No, no, I didn't take it that way at all. It just sounded like a few people were going on the defensive. I know a lot of folks are working hard on both issues, I just wanted to reinforce the importance of E-verify because it was starting appears as if it was taking second fiddle to the bailout.
