Thread: Part of the blame will lie on the Tea Party

As a proud Tea Party Lady I have watched our movement move from an idea to a reality. Americans have woken up and found their voice. Yet, our battles have just begun. Every day we find that Obama's Socialist agenda is becoming reality. Our God given rights are being taken away from us one piece at a time.

When amnesty gets pushed thru Obama will have his voting base. I assure you there are more than 15 million people in this country illegally. I would bet that Houston TX alone has more than that. My friend has emailed and asked on facebook the leaders of the Tea Parties if they would take a stand on fighting amnesty. All she has heard is that immigration is a issue that the Tea Party as a group do not want to have anything to do with. The Tea Party leaders are wrong. This is an issue that will have far reaching consequences.

If or When we completely lose this country it will be partly because of the
Tea Party people not standing together saying NO.

Why don't the Tea Partiers want to take a stand against one of the biggest fiscal related issues facing our country like illegal immigration? How in the world can they expect to make a difference with illegal aliens pouring in and our jobs flowing out that grows unemployment, welfare, entitlements, health care costs, education costs, law enforcement costs and incarceration costs?

It's incredible that any group that wants less government spending, reduced deficits, less debt, less welfare and lower taxes doesn't want to take a stand against one of the primary reasons our country has more of all that and is going bankrupt as a result.

My perception is, they think making an issue out of illegal immigration will clutter their message. Go figure...........

When I have been to some teaparty events, when illegal immigration is brought up, there are strong applause. You have to remember also, that most Mexicans don't want to become citizens. They probably will have a tought time getting them to vote. They don't care about the US.

Maybe they'll change their minds in the coming weeks and months before the election. I sure hope so, because we need everyone united on this issue.

i am a tpp. my understanding is we're agin it. tomorrow at 6 pm is a "party". I have rsvp'd . I will let them know how we feel.

Big part of the Tea Party not having no amnesty on their agenda - Freedom Works and Dick Army. I believe also that the Tea Party Express people adore the fame of Sarah Palin, and I think she is the Trojan horse to keep the no amnesty platform away.

The real tea party people, those who are not in the national spotlight, are against it but ignored by the few who have to toe the line in the sand put down by Army and Palin to keep their "fame". Apparently, all kinds of power corrupts - even in the grassroots organization.
