Sessions: Reduce visas for nations that don’t take back illegal immigrants

Sen. Jeff Sessions says the State Department should work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to pressure countries to take back illegal immigrants convicted of committing crimes in the U.S.

Sessions suggested reducing visas for countries that refuse to take back native residents convicted of killing Americans.

The GOP Alabama senator made the comments at a hearing on immigration enforcement. Witnesses included the father of a San Francisco woman shot and killed — allegedly by a man who had been deported five separate times.

that's a start. How about DEDUCTING from the money we send them OR just drop all funds we send.
the cost to US citizens is about 36,000 per year to house an illegal alien for 1 year in US prison.

Truly coming to the US illegally should be a felony. If they are deported and return again. They should be executed the 3rd time. We have got to start meaning business with these people.
When reagan was around there was 1 illegal out of 20+ people in the USA. Now it's 1 in 7 is an illegal alien. The crime by these people is huge and much is not reported nor stats kept.

Also 30 % of ALL murders in the USA are committed by illegal aliens. TRULY all the families o fthe dead should file a class action lawsuit against barack obama dn the federal government for failing to enforce current immigration laws.

I believe returning illegally after being deported is a felony. I agree that we need to get tougher on illegals. Strictly enforcing the laws we already have in place would go a long way in doing that. Calling for the execution of someone that comes here illegally is way out of bounds. Supporting such a tactic would not help ALIPAC or our cause.

"Reducing visas" is a very weak and timid response to such a serious problem. I would have expected more and better from Jeff Sessions on this issue. I still love him, but this was a suggestion on his part not worth making.

Now that's a plan. Cut them off completely. No aid, no visa's, no tourism, no anything. However I would go even further as far as illegal border crossers go and hold the last country they crossed before entering the US accountable as well if that country doesn't pass a check of seriously trying to secure their own borders and stopping would be illegal alien passer's from going on through.

Reducing visa's is still a hit but its like trying to kill an elephant with a plastic toy pellet gun. It will be annoying but that's about it.
