What is really needed is a multipronged approach to the problem of illegal immigration. Neither of the established parties is willing ot stand up and take the proverbial bull by the horns and address this from the point of view of protecting the citizens of this great country.

Therefore, we need a new party that is not indebted to the special interests and is determined to protect American citizens and taxpayers first and foremost by returning this country to the Constitutional roots upon which it was founded.

In regards to the illegal immigration issue, this can be accomplished by implementing the following measures:

1) Securing the borders and ports of the USA to prevent any unauthorized entry into our country. If this requires the erection of a hard barrier along all borders with all neighboring countries, then that is what we must be committed to doing.

2) Develop and implement methods for employers to quickly and inexpensively verify the citizenship status of applicants for jobs, as well as verifying their social security information as valid.

3) Enact and stringently enforce regulations that contain major forfeiture clauses for any employer found employing illegal or undocumented aliens. These regulations should contain a sliding scale of increasing forfeitures for any employers found with multiple employees that are illegally employed under the regulation. Also, repeat offenders (employers), should be faced with incarceration and or assignment to a labor camp tasked with constructing the border barriers for at least 3 years with no time off for 'good behavior'.

4) Restrict any and all public assistance to undocumented aliens to only be able in the case of life threatening instances, once they are stabilized, transport them to a point outside the USA after recording their biometric information.

5) Remove the clause that bestows citizenship on children of aliens that are here illegally.

6) Enact legislation to remove availability of bond for any illegal charged with a crime. They shall be held until trial, and upon completion of the trial or upon completion of their incarceration, they shall be transported to a point outside the USA after recording their biometric information.

7) Enact the Fair Tax so that all people in the country pay to support our system, no matter how, where or when they made their money. They will pay the tax when that money is spent on new goods and or services.


In other words, remove all incentive for a person to be here illegally. Make them want to go home because there are no jobs or free hand outs for them here any longer.

Great points.. I would like to add that the tax also applies to money wired out of the country.
