Perhaps, too, Count Floyd, my inference is off track. Moreover, the Bush administration doesn't give a damn what the voters believe (with transition to the NAU being paramount and the Iranian nuclear threat being secondary).

Correct me if I'm wrong, Count Floyd - Perhaps, the administration staff convinced senators that only the illegals can reconstitute our government after nuclear strikes - albeit, the "government" that illegals (and their H-1B brothers ) would reconstitute, would be the Dictatorship of the NAU!

You know MW, did you see Grassely on c-span this morning? First he said he would vote against amnesty or the bill if amnesty is in there.

Some called in and brought up the NAU, and he said there is no truth in some shadow government trying to open the borders and build a Super Nafta Highway, he said maybe some states might be improving their highway systems but thats all it is. It is hard to tell if these guys are blind, stupid or very good liars.

My friend was the manager at Applebees, and some of the cooks there were illegals. When 9/11 hit, my friend said those illegal cooks and their friends were thinking of heading back to Mexico for safety. I was also given the impression that many were already leaving. Some allies, Bush. I'm sure they're all back in America now until the next threat emerges.

Hate to be so cynical, but this would probably be just the impetus our government needed to finally seal our borders----to prevent escape. If there is ever a major crisis here, I'm wagering these people will be trapped here like caged rats. Our government will use the argument that they came here to be part of America, and part of America they'll be---defending her to the death.

Similar to "The Magnificent Seven".....they had to get gunmen to protect them from their own corrupt people, and they wouldn't fight back!
