Thread: Are we finished?

We went garage saling today and I talk (and talk) when I meet people.

There were two different garage sales that were being held by teachers. One kinda youngish, 35, who teaches history, the other recently retired high school teacher.

In conversations with both of them, they both seemed to have conceded to the fact that America or at least the Southwest is gone. The retired teacher was very sad and angry. She said she had been telling her students for some years now, they had better pay attention and begin doing something if they didn't want to loose their country.

The younger one just flippant said, 'yes, it was Mexico and it will be again'.
His attitude seemed that he was fine with it. I just wonder what he is teaching his children. Is he teaching them what America is about, is he warning them as the older teacher did, or is he teaching them to believe it is lost or maybe even a good thing. Kinda scary.

I, for one, will NEVER give up as long as I draw breath! The teacher with the flip attitude is a prime example of why this invasion continues. There are too many ignorant and apathetic people.

I hope the teacher is fluent in Spanish, otherwise he may find himself in the unemployment line.

Its really sad that some American's have lost the inner strength of their forefathers and are willing to just give up and rollover. I still have the hope and belief that most still have some backbone left inside when push comes to shove...

I have told some... who still do not get in the fight to save our country...
wake up NOW or cry later...and you will be crying when your freedoms are gone and this is NOT the country you have known and loved!

I hope there are more out there teaching our kids like the older teacher.

To be honest, I am not sure she has given up - her attitude was 'if we don't do something soon - very soon---', but with the total fear that something would not be done in time.

Strange thing, I did not see as many Mexicans as I usually do, in that area. I did see young men (boys) doing the mowing around business, schools, etc., where usually you see the Mexicans.

Some people have lost their will to do anything about what is going on, so long as they have their convenient lives, they don't care.

I for one will not stop fighting this, so long as I breath either. This is MY country, and it belongs to me and millions of Americans just like me, not to foreign invaders, never.

Of course 'we're not finished.'

Look at what happened in our country regarding that shamnesty bill, we shut down the congressional switchboard and stopped that sell-out bill.

Yes, many are complacent, but obviously countless citizens are not.

The younger teacher proves, once again, apathy is our greatest enemy in the fight to save our country.

Has anyone ever read the book titled "The Naked Communist" by W. Cleon Skousen? It was written in 1953, copyright 1958.

The author claims around the end of the Korean War military intelligence came upon a to do list for world domination. Communist domination. The info was passed to the Senate and a Senator William Knowland placed it in the Congressional Record under the date of April 29, 1954, page 5708.

There is a to do list and some other questions with answers to achieve domination and beat the U.S. in the "Cold War.'

Shocking considering that this was written in the late 1950's is the amount of the list which has been completed!

Here are just some of the goals, there are 45 total goals plus the questions and answers part of this document.

#4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of wether or not items could be used for war.

#7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

#11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If it's charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with it's own armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow.)

#13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

#15. Capture one or both political parties in the U.S.

#16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

#17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communism propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in the textbooks.

#20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions.

#25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

#26. This one talks about sexuality and alternative life styles (my words) I will not post it here.

#30. Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

#33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

#38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.

#44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

These are just a few. Interesting I think. It was the Cold War. Propaganda on our part, or actual documents gained from the Communist by our military intelligence? Either way, written in the 1950's or before(?) therefor rather shocking. MHO

Some of the questions and answers section is equally interesting. Some have come to pass and others not, atleast yet.

Damn, I sure like reading my old collected history books. Never know what one might come across. Of the 45 "to do" list 75 to 80% has been completed. IMHO

I REALLY DONT THINK WE ARE "FINISHED"

SOME PEOPLE DO THINK SO THOUGH. AND I THINK THEY ARE SURE WE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT....OR IT IS TOO HARD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

SO THEY TRY TO CONVINCE THEMSELVES THAT THIS IS OK AND IT WILL BE OK. ITS EASIER. THEN THEY DONT HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. T

HEY DONT HAVE TO FACE THE PAIN OR FEAR OF WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY. THOSE OF US WITH A SENSE OF SURVIVAL ARE THE ONES TO STEP UP.
