Where is Elvira's 8 year old kid?

    Friends,

I'm considering an email alert with PR recommendations for our national supporters in response to Elvira's arrest and deportation. I need to know where her kid is.

This whole thing is a PR trap laid by the opposition and it all hinges on the kid.

They want to evoke sympathies for all illegal aliens based on the arrest in front of the child and the separation of mother and child.

I need to know where her kid is because she has the option of bringing her child with her as the legal adult. If she is leaving the kid behind, we need to attack her for abandoning him.

She did leave him in the custody of a very angry looking female. I am looking for the link to the video and story.. I have read too many this morning and it might take awhile to find the statement that Saul is in the custody of that female.

msnbc live, reported that he was left with a church member. I am sure they will run the story again.

It's horrible she left her child behind, what a terrible mother.

    Immigration Activist Deported after Arrest

    Los Angeles --
A woman who sought sanctuary from deportation in a Chicago church was arrested today in Los Angeles, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Elvira Arellano was arrested by ICE agents on a city street near La Placita Church in downtown Los Angeles shortly after 3 p.m.

In a statement, ICE said its "officers in Los Angeles today arrested criminal alien and immigration fugitive Elvira Arellano."

Arellano "was taken into custody without incident" and "is being processed for removal to Mexico based upon a deportation order originally issued by a federal immigration judge in 1997," according to the statement. "Arresting and removing criminal aliens is one of ICE's top enforcement priorities and the agency will continue to pursue these cases vigorously."

Arellano and her son Saul, 8, who is a U.S. citizen, were in Los Angeles to press for immigration reform and were staying at La Placita Church.

Her son said they were followed by unmarked cars following services at La Placita and that plain-clothed officers who identified themselves as immigration agents took her into custody, said local spokeswoman Hilda Delgado.

She said Saul is being taken care of by a pastor and his wife while lawyers processed papers in an attempt to get his mother released.

This smells like a staged Circus Show.....

ICE and DHS could be in it too. I don't trust Chertzky at all.

"It's a sad day," said Ald. Ricardo Munoz (22nd.) "We need comprehensive immigration reform that keeps families together. A young boy, a U.S. citizen, lost his mother to a broken system. Elvira has put a face to this struggle. There are 12 million illegal immigrants that head to work every morning, not knowing if they'll come home at the end of the day."

Late Sunday, her son, Saul, was under the care of Coleman and Emma Lozano's husband.
I'd rather die living then live dying!
