LULAC joins forces with Mexican groups.

    TRANSLATED FROM:
    http://diariolaestrella.com/151/story/57210.html

Qualified as a historic event, the leadership of LULAC joins with the leaders of the confederacies and Clubs of Mexicans to form the largest alliance in the country, under the letterhead of Commission for Migrant Matters, LULAC National Commission for Immigrant Affairs (LNCIA).

According to a communiqué the president of LULAC, Rose Rosales, declared that the addition with the largest associations of Mexicans in the country "we will enlarge the number of members of LULAC and it will also give us the direct possibility to send in a more effective way our messages and our initiatives to more people".

In turn Germán Trejo, who has been elected as the president of the commission of the LNCIA for his leadership at the Institute of Mexicans Abroad, declared, according to the bulletin, that this commission "is the start of many projects that the immigrants have dreamed of, this union will fortify us and it will motivate us to push ahead projects that have not been carried out because we have been working separately. The union of associations, of clubs and of confederacies with LULAC will mark a historic event in the latin american community, since the companies will be able to create programs with all these groups through the Commission".

The LNCIA will carry out its first Tri-National Conference at the National Convention of LULAC in Washington D.C., July 10. The Conference will receive officials of the U.S., Mexico and Canada in a board discussion on work, comerce and immigration.

LET THEM JOIN FORCES WITH WHOM EVER THEY WANT TO. THEY WILL NEVER OUT NUMBER THOSE OF US WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. AND THAT IS TO STAND TOGETHER FOR OUR COUNTRY AGAINST THOSE WHO ARE HERE ILLEGALLY AND MAKING DEMANDS ON OUR GOVERNMENT FOR THINGS THAT THEY ARE NOT ENTITLED TO. THEY COME HERE ILLEGALLY AND UNINVITED. THEY MARCH IN OUR STREETS WHICH THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO WAVING THE FLAG OF THEIR HOME COUNTRY AND THEN THEY EXPECT TO BE REWARDED WITH AMNESTY. NOT ONLY ARE THEY GUILTY OF ALL OF THE ABOVE, THEY ALSO HAVE THE NERVE TO COMPARE THEIR AGENDA WITH THAT OF AFRICAN-AMERICANS. THEY DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS, CIVIL OR OTHERWISE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT HERE LEGALLY. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THOSE WHO ARE IN SUPPORT OF THESE ILLEGALS WOULD KNOW THIS. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THOSE WHO ARE IN FAVOR OF GRANTING AMNESTY TO THESE FOLKS ARE NOT VERY EDUCATED IN THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT OR ITS LEGACY. ITS NOT RIGHT TO COMPARE THE TWO IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM BECAUSE THIS IS OUR LEGACY AND THEY CAN'T HAVE IT NOW OR EVER!
