Mayor Bloomberg says New York needs more immigration and US visa holders

New York Mayor comes out as praising immigration into the US.

New York’s Mayor Bloomberg has spoken out in favour of US immigration and the positive effects it has had on the city.

Bloomberg himself is the grandson of an immigrant who moved to the US from Russia at the turn of the century, which seems fitting in a city where 40 per cent of inhabitants are foreign-born.

At a recent press conference, at which he revealed plans for a new campaign platform for immigrant communities living in the US, Mayor Bloomberg said, "Immigrants are why New York City became America's economic engine.â€

Both NY candidates for Mayor support illegals and amnesty and have proven that they don't care about the American people at all.

That is wonderful, mayor, but these days are a lot different that when your grandpapa landed here. In those days, there were no immigration laws worth mentioning. Today, our immigration laws are a scrambled mess that is circumvented by anyone that can sneak in here. And why pay $100 bucks for a visa, when you can pay thousands to smugglers, and maybe be held hostage until the family coughs up more bucks?
Somebody please check the mayor's water sources for hallucinogens.

In Bloomberg's grandfather's day we were still seeking out skilled immigrants, just as we had from the start. If immigrants had not been skilled we could have ended back under foreign control. Importing unskilled immigrants just won't do.

Our country's unemployment rate is the highest it has been and Bloomberg wants to add more immigrants and give out more visas?

Unbelievable...and these guys keep getting voted back in office...then again they give us no one with opposite views to vote for.

Same face on both sides of the coin...it is all we seem to get!!

When are these fools goiing to learn the difference between "ILLEGAL" immigrants and legal immigrants??????
