Illegal aliens convicted in Montgomery murder

With the conviction of Ramon Alvarado earlier this week, the latest chapter in a growing immigrants’ war on Washington came to an end. Ramon was convicted of murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit arson for his role in the attack of a grandmotherly figure who used to employ him and a cousin as day laborers.

After Jose Alvarado received a $75 check for work he completed at Lila Meizell’s home, around Thanksgiving 2008, he changed the check to $7,500 and cashed it. To cover up that crime, Jose paid his cousin, Ramon, to kill the woman.

Alvarado forced his way inside the home grabbed the 83-year-old by the throat and slammed her into several pieces of furniture before pouring the gas and setting the fire, according to court documents.

When the corpse was pulled from the home, Meizell appeared to have been burned alive.

Jose Alvarado’s wife, Ana Rodas pleaded guilty to a felony charge of being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The director of the Montgomery County jail identified the threesome as illegal aliens. They had no prior records. Of course, this heinous crime does not represent all Latinos or all immigrants.

However, the question must be asked, What if the United States had tougher border protection?

Perhaps we should show the pictures of the grandmother burned alive when pro-illegals/amnesty talk about the poor illegals just coming here for a better life.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about these heinous crimes when committed by illegals does not represent all Latinos or all immigrants!

The fact remains that if our immigration laws were enforced and that border secured, Lila Meizell would still be alive! These are the types of cold blooded murders who are lurking amongst the 20 million plus illegal invaders currently squatting in this country!

Exactly! A friend of mine lives in the D.C. area and just attended a meeting about illegal "immigrants" where the people holding the meeting said they needed to "put a face" on the "immigrants"...I told her she should have told them we need to "put a face" on all the Americans murdered and harmed in other ways by these invaders!

But for this woman hiring this illegal, he would never have invaded the sanctity of her home.

Along with the horrific crime this illegal and his cousin are comfortable with commiting, this case illustrates the danger of hiring people who are not bonded, insured, properly identified, or legal. This lady paid $75 for a day laborer, who pays no taxes and most likely receives taxpayer benefits. She endangered herself obviously, but she also put her neighbors, their children and others in danger, people who may never have considered hiring those "undocumented" day laborers. People like me. I am always furious when I see what appears to be illegals working for my neighbors doing odd jobs or landscaping. Recently, a woman in a nearby town hired an illegal she had used in the past as well. He then proceeded to rape her teenage neighbor who was swimming in her pool.

It is bad enough when you make poor choices to save a buck, but to endanger those who are paying the bills to subsidize your cheap labor is unforgivable.

However, the question must be asked, What if the United States had tougher border protection?

The Answer: This mother, grandmother, aunt, someones loved one would more than likely still be alive. Of course they don't give a damn about how our American families get torn apart!
