Guatemala Raging against US Policy
Guatemala, Apr 14 (Prensa Latina) Major Guatemalan workers organizations are staging a demonstration in front of the US embassy next week to protest that nation“s anti-immigration policy.
The movement will join the call by immigrants in that country to boycott US products on May 1, International Workers Day.
In the US live over a million Guatemalans, of which 700,000 are undocumented and could be affected if the Senate passes a law to criminalize the undocumented, sanction those who help them and build a wall along its border with Mexico.
In March, during a mass rally in Guatemala City, grassroots sectors submitted to Washington“s embassy a document signed by thousands condemning the anti-immigration policy.
Meanwhile, Deputy Alba Estela Maldonado, from the Guatemalan National Revolutionary Unity, requested that congress declare a position against that law, which is under discussion in the US Senate.

Woooo......doesn't seem there are many American companies anymore....they're GLOBAL. Fine, I've gotten to the point where I almost wish they'd all pack up and go overseas so we could get back to mom and pop stores and the morals and values that made us great in the first place.
