VISTA: Five men arrested in prostitution sting, authorities say

Five men were arrested Monday in Vista on suspicion of soliciting prostitution, sheriff's officials said Tuesday.

The five were arrested during a prostitution enforcement detail organized by the multi-agency North County Regional Prostitution/Human Trafficking Task Force, Sgt. Joe Mata said. Vista deputies conducted the detail between 6 and 11 p.m.

Deputies arrested Benito Hernandez Castro, 45; Freddy Rodriguez-San Moran, 30; Antonio Vasquez, 33; Gator German, 24; and Enrique Guzman, 38, Mata said. All were booked into the Vista Detention Center on suspicion of soliciting prostitution.

Castro and Vasquez also were jailed on suspicion of federal immigration violations, according to jail records.
