SAN DIEGO – A local congressman Thursday endorsed the Republican presidential bid of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, who was scheduled to make a campaign stop in San Diego late Thursday afternoon.
Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Carlsbad, praised Romney's stance on the economy, and said he is the candidate to strengthen the nation's immigration laws.
