Senate votes for and against the Dorgan amend...

NAY votes are votes in support of Mexican trucks entering deep inside the US carrying illegal aliens, drugs, and possibly terrorists, displacing American truckers and putting American drivers at risks.

YEA votes are to cut funding for the Bush Mexican truck pilot program instead.

Wazzup fellow Republican's

Dont you wonder why so many of our Republican leadership is wanting to be re-elected, yet they continue pounding the middle class... this time with the Mexican Trucks...

I will only give them a little credit for the help with stopping the Great IMMIGRATION GIVAWAY ... they only did because we chewed a little sence into them..... GUESS WHAT.... it's time to chew on that backside again

GO Get'em guy's and Gal's... we are taking this country back from corrupt politicians

If you want to check out a good site http://www.recallmel.com/

SEN. Mel martinez (R) Florida voted for the Mexican trucks again ... feel free to stop in and sign the petition to have Mel RECALLED from OFFICE. We want and need competant leadership in Florida.

We hope to have him selling Black Beans and Rice to the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT construction crews in Florida that he just loves to death

I'm wondering why the CA senators voted for it?

Well, good for them, whatever their reason.

North Carolinians, please note that Senator Richard Burr voted NO to withholding funding for the Mexican truck invasion.
What a traitor!
We need to work on this guy. He knows what the voters want, but he is
supporting big business and illegal activity instead.

Sen. Jim DeMint voted "Nay", and Sen. Lindsey Graham voted "Yea"?

Am I confused, or are they?

Anyone who believes that Mexican trucks don't pose a threat to drivers: they will drive anything as long as it runs. Also, Mexican gasoline is less refined than our fuel (live near the border? Then you know the horrid smell). Who will catch the secret compartments built into the trailers? I have seen as many as 12 illegal aliens die from suffocation from being trapped in one. Yep, all in the SAME COMPARTMENT. When they talk about hundreds of punds of drugs being caught at the border, I can assure you that it wasn't hidden in the dash of a small car.

One question, though....why are the SAME people who are all for open borders voting to cut funding on this program????? Domenici (R-NM) sent a letter to me about how he is all for border security, but didn't vote to cut this funding......

I am sorry if I sound very very stupid on this....why in the world is EVERY SINGLE NAY VOTE (except for Lieberman's - ID) from a "republican" - including Cornyn????? They don't want illegal immigrants and drugs but are more than willing to support the very vehicles that are bringing them both???????

Also, I happen to know several people who were in accidents with a Mexican driver. Since they live in Mexico, they don't have to have insurance. Guess who pays when these morons wreck? Now imagine a large truck. Jeez, some of our politicins should try to drive in Mexico before they vote on this stuff.

Follow the money. Multinational corporations count more than homeland security and drug enforcement (except within 60 days of an election, maybe).
