Authorities in Colorado have released the identity of an illegal immigrant who was wanted there for sexual assault on a child. The illegal immigrant was caught Sunday by Border Patrol agents working at the U.S. Highway 70 checkpoint near Alamogordo.
Lt. Lari Sevene, public information officer for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in Colorado Springs, Colo., said the man arrested Dec. 2 was wanted in El Paso County for sexual assault on a child, a fourth degree felony. His name is Ruben Rubio-Martinez.
Sevene did not know when the warrant was issued, or details regarding the charges. She did say the District Attorney's office has given approval to extradite, and Rubio-Martinez should be back in Colorado within days. If found guilty, he will serve his sentence in Colorado even though he is an illegal alien.
According to a Customs and Border Protection news release issued Dec. 3, agents encountered Rubio-Martinez in a Honda Accord with two passengers. He displayed unusual mannerisms and became irritated during questioning, and after continued questioning admitted to being in the country illegally.
Demetrio Guerra, Customs and Border Protection El Paso Sector Public Affairs Office, said when agents proceeded to question the three in the Accord, the occupants gave conflicting stories. The other two, he said, were U.S. citizens and were set free. Rubio-Martinez was arrested.
When agents processed him through the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System, it returned an alert for a possible outstanding warrant out of Colorado Springs for sexual assault on a child. There was also an alert that he had been previously deported from the United States.
Rubio-Martinez was turned over to the Otero County Sheriff's Department pending extradition, according to the news release.

I would be willing to bet that most of the molestations are against children of illegals or other hispanic children living around these creeps.
That's the thing the pro crowd doesn't get. They don't want anything done to catch and deport these monsters because they are pretending to be so caring of the illegals. It is the illegals and other hispanics that suffer from these criminals.
By and large, child molestation is a crime of convenience. In other words, they are not likely to go into a white neighborhood and try to pick up children - although there have been cases reported. They mostly are going to molest the children in close proximity.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
