    A traffic stop on the Interstate uncovers a deported sex offender making his way back into the United States.

    Sheriff Terry Wanger say deputies stopped a car on i-80 Thursday afternoon for following too closely. He says the deputy determined the man in the car was providing a false name.

    Wagner says the deputy eventually found a marriage certificate identifying the man at Eduardo Medina, a registered sex offender out of Iowa. Wagner says Medina had been deported to Mexico, but his wife was bring him back into the United States.

    Medina was taken into custody and turned over to Homeland Security.
