Subject: Immigration Field Hearings Update- August 1, 2006

Update on Congressional Field Hearings:
August 2 - August 5
The House committees scheduled to hold field hearings on immigration reform this week have now released final details on these events. FAIR has updated our list and attached it below.

We urge you to check the list below and attend the field hearings in your area!
FAIR has heard from numerous offices within the House of Representatives that these field hearings are considered critical in determining what direction the House will take when it returns from recess next month. August is the "do or die" month where Members will be in the districts, participating in these field hearings and holding local events of their own-all in an attempt to gauge whether their constituents are still engaged in the immigration debate. Your attendance at these hearings is crucial to letting our Representatives know that not only are you keeping a close eye on the debate, the only solution you will accept is enforcement only and enforcement now!
