President Fox and LA Mayor Villaraigosa applaud the Senate passage of the Kennedy/Bush/McCain amnesty.
They Should, They Helped Pay For It.

Dear Immigration Reform Supporter,

The pro-amnesty movement has made its worst mistake since 1996. Believing their own propaganda, amnesty supporters in the Senate have passed the worst immigration bill since the 1965 immigration act that started our slide into uncontrolled mass immigration.

The bill, S. 2611, would fundamentally alter the United States as a nation, bringing in anywhere from 66 to 100 million - or even more - people into the U.S. over the next 20 years. And that's why we must continue our fight!

YES! HERE'S MY CONTRIBUTION
To Support FAIR's Efforts to Secure TRUE Enforcement Laws and Fight Guest Worker Amnesty in Congress

With President Bush’s approval rating lower than ever he sees this as an opportunity to leave his stamp on U.S. immigration policy. But passage of a massive guest worker amnesty won’t be a stamp of approval; it will be a badge of shame.

FAIR and its supporters will continue to fight for TRUE immigration reform. It’s now up to the House to put America and its people's interests first.

"I'm hopeful that the House will save us from this bill" - Sen. John Ensign (R-NV)

Luckily, the Senate's actions have been a wake-up call for new allies in the fight for true immigration reform. The House of Representatives and its leadership is adamant that amnesty should not pass, and that we should secure our border and have a true enforcement policy in place before even considering a temporary worker program.

Activists around the country have awoken to the threat posed by the Senate's out of control approach to immigration. Even seasoned D.C. insiders were surprised by the 'kitchen-sink' approach the Senate took, piling special interest provision on top of giveaway left and right.

The anger of the American public is changing the terms of the immigration debate.

Did you know that Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT) changed his views after holding town hall meetings with constituents outraged over amnesty? The Washington Post said: "Shays, one of the few vulnerable House Republicans open to a broad compromise [on amnesty], said strong protests from his constituents this month prompted him to come out for the first time against citizenship for undocumented workers."

And in Nebraska, John Fund of the Wall Street Journal told readers, "Rep. Tom Osborne, the legendary University of Nebraska football coach, who lost a GOP primary for governor this month, says he was defeated in part because he backed a bill that made children of illegal immigrants eligible for in-state tuition rates at Nebraska colleges."

We must stay in the fight and FAIR is at the forefront of the pro-enforcement, anti-amnesty movement. Through countless media appearances, helping groups like You Don't Speak for Me!: American Hispanic Voices Speaking Out Against Illegal Immigration, FAIR access to key insiders on Capitol Hill, and our 200,000 members and supporters, we are turning the tide of the debate.

Your continued support will keep us in the fight for TRUE immigration reform as the pressure intensifies on the House to compromise America. Now, more than ever, Americans who support and love our country need to tell the House of Representatives not to compromise on amnesty. With your help, FAIR is getting that message out loud and clear.

FAIR relies on contributions like yours so every dollar received is appreciated and put to good use. Please help by sending a contribution today!

Don't let Vicente Fox get the last laugh - keep the pressure on by continuing to email, fax and call Congress.
