American Border Patrol

Working Overtime
This photo was taken this morning. It shows construction crews working on the border fence west of American Border Patrol's ranch in Southeastern Arizona. "DHS has really increased the tempo of fence construction," said Glenn Spencer of ABP. "Could it be that ABP's report that they are going to fall far short of their 12/31/08 goal is having an impact?"
American Border Patrol will stay on top of the situation and will run a full aerial survey of the border from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean fairly soon. "We are also going to watch to see if the next President allows fence construction to continue, stops fence construction altogether, or even allows the Mexicans to start tearing it down," Spencer added.
Spencer said he hoped the American People will continue to give ABP the support it needs to do its work. -- (Note: The photo is a little distorted because of the 400 mm telephoto zoom and thermal layers.)
