Huge Victory in Arizona....Renewed Push for Amnesty in Washington

I am thrilled to report a fantastic victory in our fight against illegal immigration. It happened in Arizona once again, the land of the great Prop 200!

Led by our good friend Arizona Senator Russell Pearce, a national hero of the true immigration reform movement, Arizona legislators demonstrated enormous courage and boldness as they plotted a legislative path to greater protection for their citizens from the brutal consequences of open borders.

This border state grapples with a half-million illegal aliens within its borders and is the principal highway for hundreds of thousands more, including drug runners, human smugglers, and violent criminals, who invade their state on their way somewhere else. As you may remember just weeks ago, an illegal alien shot and killed Arizona rancher Rob Krentz while he worked on his family ranch, and then escaped back into Mexico!

So last week Arizona's legislature passed -- and her Governor signed into law -- the toughest immigration bill in the country. If it is upheld in the courts, it may well be the beginning of the end of massive illegal immigration in the United States. Where Washington lacked the will to enforce our immigration laws, Arizona gave her police force the tools to do the job themselves. Today other states are lining up to do the same for their law enforcement officers.

Arizona's new law makes it a state crime punishable by up to six months in jail to be in the country illegally. What's more, all immigrants must carry some document to prove their legal status, and the law requires police to question the status of anyone they have reason to believe is in the country illegally.

The Governor laid out the necessity of this law perfectly: "We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act. But decades of federal inaction and misguided policy have created an unacceptable situation." Arizona decided it wasn't waiting any longer and gave the power to enforce immigration laws to Arizona's law enforcement agencies. It is an amazing victory!

As expected, La Raza and their open-border pals are going nuts--demanding their open border President pass a "comprehensive immigration" bill ASAP--that means AMNESTY.They want the cowards in Washington, who caused the illegal alien crisis, to make the millions of illegal aliens in the country legal before Arizona and other states can get them deported!

President Obama had the audacity to call the bill misguided and irresponsible--claiming it may lead to racial profiling! He said the bill could violate the civil rights of legal immigrants and has asked his Justice department to look into the constitutionality of the law.

It is unbelievable! Obama won't enforce the law! He won't secure the border! He's never shown the least bit of concern about the crime being committed against Americans by illegal aliens! But let a state try to secure the safety and protection of its own citizens against an invasion that Obama encourages by his lack of action, and he calls on the power and force of the federal government to stop the state!

Friends, unfortunately there is no time to celebrate. We must prepare to fight and stop what promises to be a ruthless battle to pass an amnesty for the 15 to 30 million illegal aliens in this country today. The Left is demanding action this year! In fact, an amnesty bill, the ridiculously named "Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2009" (H.R. 4321) has already been introduced in the House by pro-amnesty activist Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL).

The Left knows that the big democratic losses in the elections this November makes it all the more important to get amnesty passed this year. It's now or never for them. A more conservative Congress won't even consider an amnesty, and in the meantime the states will take care of the problem themselves.

Friends, I have asked Bay to put together a plan to get us up and ready for battle. She is already talking to national immigration leaders to co-ordinate the effort. At the same time she is looking to support more solid candidates--the kind we can count on to represent us in Washington.

We must stop amnesty! We have done it before, but that means nothing if we lose now. America is on the ropes and she can't survive a massive amnesty.

Team America must have the funds to wage an aggressive battle against amnesty--and we need to continue supporting the great Patriots who have courageously agreed to run for Congress. We need them to stop future amnesties and the national bankruptcy the Left seems determined to execute.

They are afraid that all states are going to follow AZ... so now they are in a panic to get amnesty passed. I pray they won't make and we will take their power away in November!

NO AMNESTY! who do we write in Washington to throw OUT amnesty in the equation? with our economy in crisis we don't need anymore illegals all 200 million of them imploding our treasury, debt, unemployment, unisured, public schools, crime, jails, etc!
