This is hell week for immigration enforcement. If you care about this issue, please read this entire email carefully, and then take every step we ask. Here's the update:

1. Yesterday President Obama seemed to rent out his immigration policy to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the Mexican government.

2. And on Saturday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was caught on tape saying that immigration enforcement agents are "un-American" when they acted to enforce the laws.

Maybe you'll want to rub your eyes two or three times and re-read the above paragraphs.

Statements like "renting out" his foreign policy to the Mexican government are pretty alarming. We at NumbersUSA are usually careful to avoid heated rhetoric.

But read the details, and you'll see while I HAVE to let off some steam this time!

After spending the first weeks of his term engulfed by the financial mess, Obama has decided it's time to make nice with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. In a meeting with them yesterday in California, he promised to push ahead soon with the same "Immigration Reform" â€

He said he'd do it in his first 100 days in office...looks like he is determined to keep his promise on this one.

LATE-NIGHT FAXING MADNESS

* At 8 p.m. last night (Tuesday), I notified the public of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus' planned visit to the White House on Wednesday to call for an end to immigration enforcement -- and to tell the public about Nancy Pelosi's video that enforcing immigration laws is un-American.
* At 1:30 a.m., I received our regular 4-hour report and learned that our NumbersUSA computers had already processed 37,883 fax orders from the grassroots to the White House and Congress!
* When I got up this morning, the report for 1:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m found another 9,740 faxes sent in the dead of night.
* And as America was waking up between 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. this morning, they sent 17,416 more.
* That makes about 65,000 faxes that Americans sent to the White House and Congress in the first 12 hours of learning about the outrageous development overnight.
* Between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today, another 36,362 protest faxes were ordered.

(ADDED THURSDAY MORNING: All told on Wednesday, Americans used NumbersUSA's website to send 101,644 faxes in reaction.)

We can not let Amnesty happen. It is immoral and runs contrary to our constitution.
