FIRST SOME BACKGROUND:
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AMERICA'S HERO:
Agent Ramos is in a federal prison cell - about the size of a bathroom - 23 hours a day. There is a small window; but it is painted dark gray. He is allowed out of his cell one hour a day "for a walk."
Reading material is forbidden. The family and advocates have pleaded with prison officials to let Agent Ramos be provided with reading material. But prison staff state: they must enforce the rule: NO READING MATERIAL in solitary confinement.

The 911 Families sought to present Agent Ramos with a Holy Bible; prison officials stated Agent Ramos, in solitary confinement, could not receive the Holy Bible.

The 911 Families and members of congress contacted prison officials. After extreme pressure, the prison allowed Agent Ramos to receive the Bible. Agent Ramos is allowed no photos in his cell...sleeps on a cot. Agent Ramos can only read one book, the Bible, but:

AGENT RAMOS CAN READ ALL OF THE MAIL SENT TO HIM!

HERE IS THE REQUEST DIRECTLY FROM AGENT RAMOS BELOW:

Agent Ramos would like you to send him letters! His wife, Monica, and father-in-law, Joe, said yesterday: "PLEASE write to Agent Ramos America."

Monica said Agent Ramos used to receive about 50 letters a day - now he is only getting 10 letters a day. Or less. Agent Ramos said the prison staff gage how much America supports him via his mail volume.

PLEASE write Agent Ramos once a week or more! PLEASE get your children and grandchildren to send Agent Ramos a letter! Have your friends and relatives write a letter - hold an AGENT RAMOS LETTER WRITING party.

You cannot send him a postcard: ONLY a letter in an envelope.

The letters must be addressed EXACTLY as follows:

Not a problem. I love writing letters.

I'll go post this in a couple of other places that I know feel very strongly for the agents as well.

This country has some really bad problems . As long as we keep electing the same jerks over and over I don't believe we can expect to see any change .

The man's a political prisoner.

And now because he can't be let out into
general population because they'll kill him.

He's not segregated for his own safety.

But put in Solitary for his own safety which means
he of course has to follow the "rules" of solitary
confinement because

I mean what can they do about it?

They're only the prison staff and the warden!!??

What?! What?! Are you kidding me??????
He can't have a Bible?
He can't practice his religion?
IF he were Muslim I bet he would get a Quran.

Where is the ACLU now?
Where are the religious leaders in our country?
This is a travesty!!!!

I will absolutly write him every single week. I would love to write to Campion as well. I hope I can find his address!

I've got some letters to write!!

I sent off my first letter to him this morning.
Until they are pardoned, I will be sending Mr. Ramos a letter every week.
I let him know that he is not forgotten, and that America is talking about this case. I also let him know that we are fighting for his release. I kept the letter uplifting because I am sure he needs all the uplifting he can get right now.
If anyone knows how I can get the addresses for Campion and Hernandez, please let me know. I would be happy to write them too.

Anything to help a fellow American!!! I started writing him letters yesterday. Once again, our countries government at it's finest!! Unbelivable that our own country is punishing someone for upholding the law,the laws that they write and paid those border patrol agents to uphold. No wonder more and more illegals get through daily. Most of those agents are probley too scared to stop them for fear of being imprisoned for doing their jobs. SHAME,SHAME,SHAME on the Bushes and Kennedy's of the USA!!!
