SEE THE AD THAT'S MAKING LIBERALS BERSERK - HERE

    http://www.ourcountrydeservesbetter.com ... tiran.html

If you read the headlines about Obama's policies that are featured in the ad you are reminded of something you'd expect from a regime in Iran - not here in the U.S.A.

Think about it, Obama's Department of Homeland Security issues reports labeling certain mainstream conservatives such as military veterans and pro-life advocates as "right wing terrorists"... the government takes over automakers, firing chief executives and closing down thousands of dealerships under government decree... there's an explosion in massive deficit spending designed to squash the private sector and make people beholden to the government for their income and livelihood.

But sadly, these reports ARE about the United States and Obama's administration (with the backing of the Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi Congress) They are pushing ahead even further with their radical left-wing agenda including the "Cap & Trade" global warming/tax increase scam (the largest tax increase in history), a massive socialistic government health care proposal, and more.

So understand this is the context upon which this new ad campaign has been launched. We're calling attention to the ramifications of the policies of Obama/Reid/Pelosi, and we've struck a nerve. The liberals are furious! See the liberal hysteria below, but before you do, help us continue to pushback against Obama/Pelosi/Reid

Great ad. However, though I am no Obama fan, I wish they would have focused less on Obama specifically, with his name and picture, and instead said "Current Administration" or "Washington Politicians" or focused on Scary Reid and Piglosi.

Even if the organization sponsoring this ad believes Obama to be a socialist, communist, or fascist, unfortunately he is still personally popular and well-liked even by many who are starting to NOT like his policies. Seeming to attack Obama himself can backfire at this point, I think, making those who still like him defensive and running into his arms, so to speak. Attacking Piglosi and Scary Reid is safer, because they don't have the personal popularity and appeal.

That's the whole idea behind a charismatic personality that ultimately is bad for a corporation, group, country. They look like sheep in the mist of the lions. Personally, I think Obama is not a bad person. Or even evil or hateful. But, I do see him as being very closed to anything that is not liberal. I see him as ultimately very destructive to this country with his smooth ways. His smooth ways are what makes people look to people around him to be the trouble makers. He is at the root of this. Pelosi and Reid are idiots following him. And, that is also another point in how charismatic people pull these things off. They have idiots following them. We have all read the studies of the people that were told to do something painful to someone and it was not what they would have done but they were told to do it so they did. Mindlessly going along. Pelosi and Reid mindlessly going along. A largely Democratic congress who claims to be for the people. Mindlessly going along and destroying the working class along the way.

LaughingLynx - I agree with you about the phenomenon of the Charismatic Leader who fools everyone and is followed by his sheeple. But then does it make sense for those wanting to change the followers' minds to attack Mr. Charisma personally and directly, thinking that they can win back his blinded followers, by attacking him? I'm just not sure about the strategy.

The blinded follower needs to wake up. Another age old problem. People don't want to take responsibility for sound thinking and it's results, so they project the "sound thinking responsibility" on the charismatic leader. As long as they never admit the leader is wrong they don't have to take responsibility for their own flawed thinking.
