AUSTIN - Due to a massive amount of public interest, The Texas Department of Transportation is extending the public comment period for the Interstate 69 Trans-Texas Corridor Project.

The Transportation Department says it received more than 14,000 comments regarding the project, and wants to hear all requests.

No additional public hearings are scheduled, but Texans can submit comments online at www.Keeptexasmoving.com

I agree...this George Bush country and we have seen how he operates at the federal level. It is still the same in Texas...they will have the meetings for show and then come up with some lame excuse to go ahead with the original plans. I will give Rick Perry credit though for being a lot smarter that the C average president that can't pronounce nuclear!
