Check out Interstate 4 in Orlando, FL for illegal workers
Be careful, there appears to be illegal workers on Interstate 4 expansion in Orlando, Florida. I was videotaping the construction when apparantly one of them perceived me as a threat and called for help. A supervisor came and grabbed my video camera and twisted my arm. When he couldn't take my video camera he offered me a personal tour of the construction site in his vehicle apparently to get me out of public view and into a location where they could attack me without witnesses.
The supervisor had a crew of workers just standing by observing. It seemed that they were waiting for a chance to join in on the attack. But I was in plain public view near the police station and there were witnesses. However, I had done nothing but take videotape of the construction out of couriosity.
Obvioulsy, I would not accept the invitation for a private tour in the attacker's vehicle after he had attacked me. Do they think I am stupid. So they wrote down my license plate number, took pictures of me and my vehicle. Then they followed me after I left the scene. I literally had to seek refuse in the African American Museum where I stayed for hours until I felt it was safe to leave. For several days they continued to follow me and stalked me.
By the time I left Orlando, I felt my life was in danger. So, I filed a police report. However, the Orlando police and the state attorney did not file charges against the attacker even though I provided them video of the attack. They didn't even bother to tell me why they wouldn't file charges.
So, if you are a tourist and just courious be careful when taking video in Orlando. You could find yourself fighting for your life. I thought stuff like this only occurred in Iran and similar countries but it happened right there in Orlando and Orlando and state authorities are not on you side and will not protect you. It appears that the freeway workers can attack you with impunity.
So, be very careful when taking video around the Interstate 4 construction in Orlando. If they approach you get the hell out of there because they mean business. Perhaps you should just leave Orlando as quickly as possible. Also, don't bother to report it to the Orlando police department and the state attorney because you are on your own. They will not help.

Welcome to ALIPAC! Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Did you happen to get the name of the company that was employing these guys?
