A judge has set bond at $25,000 for a Gillette woman accused of defecating in her pants during a home burglary and leaving her soiled underwear at the crime scene.

Stephanie Jeanne Davis, 34, is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison.

Prosecutors day Davis helped Edmundo Quinones-Herrera, 52, burglarize a home Wednesday in the 1200 block of Wagonhammer Lane. Several guns, a laptop computer, jewelry and other items were stolen from the home, which belongs to Davis’ ex-husband.

A woman who works for Davis’ ex-husband walked in on the burglary when she dropped by to pick up some paperwork for her boss. Prosecutors say Quinones-Herrera ran out the back and jumped in a 1992 maroon Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Davis.

Police pulled over Davis shortly afterward when she ran a stop sign. The officer noticed she was nude from the waist down. Davis’ soiled pants and underwear were found in the street near her ex-husband’s home. Detectives found feces smeared inside Davis’ car along with most of the stolen property.

Quinones-Herrera is charged with aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 50 years in prison.

On Friday, Circuit Judge William S. Edwards set his bond at $25,000, but Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on Quinones-Herrera, who is believed to be an illegal immigrant.
