CBP Officers at Pharr International Bridge Seize $4.8 Million in Cocaine, Marijuana - 3 Men Arrested

Pharr, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Pharr International Bridge seized close to 147 pounds of cocaine and close to 153 pounds of marijuana in two separate and unrelated drug seizures this last weekend. The estimated combined street value of the two drug loads is close to $4,823,000.00.

CBP officers seized a nearly 150 pounds of cocaine with a market value of $4.7 million.

On May 1 at 9:12 p.m. CBP officers working at the Pharr/Reynosa International Bridge came in contact with a northbound traveler driving a 1995 Ford Bronco. The traveler was accompanied by two passengers, a male and a female. After a primary examination, the vehicle, driver and passengers were referred to secondary for an intensive examination.
